Airline Tickets

Has anyone bought their tickets yet? I have been searching on the internet and the prices seem a bit high to me, but perhaps I am not doing a proper search or maybe the tickets are really that high. So far, prices from the west coast have been about $650+. Has anyone done any better than this round trip price and that is with two (yuck) layovers. Look forward to hearing some chatter about booking flights.

Should I wait a little longer to book or is that why the price is what it is? Have you all booked your flights?

We paid about that but we're coming from Boston with one connection in Houston. We got our tix months ago and I'm afraid to look and see if its more or less now :)

The prices from the East coast have actually been cheaper than West lately.
However, I recommend if you're from the West Coast to fly US Air and connect through Phoenix - it's much less and an easy connection.

Yes, we got our tickets. We are coming from Kansas City. Got them for about $550.

Well we are coming from Sao Paulo, Brazil !! Not quite so far for us to go this year compared to Seattle in 2009 ! But still an overnight flight into Mexico DF and then a connection to Zihuatanejo. And as for the price ... well next time we'll take the bus !
