Linda and Carole from Santa Rosa, California are going to Europe! :D We're flying in a week early and staying near a beach in Spain. But the night before the cruise we plan to stay at the Hotel Axel. We're still waiting for details on booking that from Gregg.

Our family from Lumberton, NJ will be there as well. We are flying in for two nights before the cruise and staying for one night after. Does anyone know how many rfamilies have booked this cruise? This will be our third rfamily cruise and we are looking forward to seeing everyone in Europe. ciao ciao

We're staying at the hotel Arc La Rambla night before and night we return. Fairly close to the port. About $135 and $99 for those nights.

it's official we are booked. staying 3 nights in Barcelona before the cruise and 1 night after. have not decided on barcelona hotel yet, though have had a number of people recommend the Axel. also the sunday the cruise returns is the Barcelona Gay Pride parade.

Anyone want to share fight info? We've been tryng to book flights, but they're all so expensive! Flying NY to Barcelona (well...actually LA-NY and NY-Barcelona, but we're covered for the first half). If anyone has any leads, please let us know! Thanks!

the best I was able to find from JFK was just over 1,000 per person on American. with a small discount code 1760AG. slightly better pricing from Newark airport

Unfortunately Hotel Axel does not allow more than 2 people in a room --- since we have a family of 3 (2 adults and our 12 year old son) we were told we would have to book two rooms and I'm not looking to split up my family in the hotel. Looking now for other hotel options.
As far as airfare, the cheapest I found was from Newark on TAP. (Air Portugal) Connects in Portugal and then to Barcelona... just over $700 p/p. Booked on cheapoair.com which is a site similar to expedia. Have many friends who have flown TAP and never had a problem.
This is our third rfamily cruise..... cant wait to see everyone!!

I've been looking at flights each week.
You can save a few hundred dollars per ticket if you connect and not book a non-stop from NY.
