Hi all,
I have been very busy catching grenades. Good old Uncle New York State has fixated on me. Then there is the darling that falsified Invoices and stole a considerable amount of funds from my Charity.At the worst possible time. I am basically trying to keep people eating ,lights, on and roofs over there heads. The trickle down effect has caused Major damage.
That is why I have been MIA.
Not realy been keeping the boards clean is another job in itself.
Would everyone stop by and say HI.
One bright spot The Princess was home for the weekend.
She wil leave soon.:(
Ok back to sorting through a Milion documents.

Cheryl--- How many more months til we go to Ixtapa? Sorry to hear you are going through that BS.

We sent in our deposit today for Ixtapa. Won't be able to swing the airline tickets until late February. I would imagine we will still be able to get just as good a deal at that time as now since July isn't like trying to book at Christmas or Spring Break.

Ugh. That IS crappy news, Cheryl. Take care of yourself, and I hope everything went well with the suit.

Bullwinkle, my travel agent said that we shouldn't even look at airfare until January. 'course, the reason he said that was b/c we're going to need a connecting flight from our little hometown to Seattle. He's certain that there's going to be flight changes.

In order to manage our children, we're going to try to take redeye's both directions. And dramamine. Hopefully both together will work . . .

Any hints for airlines for Hawaii-prices are double what I am used to flying from CA! WISH SOUTHWEST WENT TO HAWAII!!:mad:

If you can fly on Easter Sunday on the return flight it will lower your cost by a couple of hundred dollars per person. I suggest staying an extra night after the cruise.

Try kayak alert Patty turned me on to it last year.
Hint airlines count revenue by the hour 3 to 4 am everyday. And on Sunday between 7 amd 8 am are there lowest revenue hours which makes for cheapest prices. I booked my last flight to seattle through them 6 hundred roundtrip for the Lori and I. The good thing is they take you directly to the Airline. So it is not a third party booking.You can set up alerts to get on your phone when it hits a low Price.

The holidaze are nearly over, and we have gotten our airfare, and have even convinced my dad and his wife to come along. Apparently, Dad's wife (really nice lady) had tears in her eyes at the thought of meeting a whole bunch of other families like ours when she was making the reservation w/ RFamily.

With the new year (almost) beginning, I'm starting to get excited!

We're going to Ixtapa. The land based vacation appeals to us quite a bit. We did the cruise, and it was fun, but we're looking forward to the club med experience. And the reviews on trip advisor have given Club Med Ixtapa incredibly high reviews!

Robyn found $500 tix for us from Kansas City International to mexico... All we need to do is pack (well, okay get our passports, pay for the rest of our trip...sigh!)
