Ok Whose Going Where

Hey everyone,
I was wondering what trips Folks are thinking about.Ashes is going to Hawaii without the kids.You go girl. Lori wants to go to Europe.My dilema is that I want to go on them all.
Reality check.
I have been reading some of the posts there are a lot of different views on the new products that R Family is offering this year.
Of course I am going to post mine.
There are a lot of people that have been on all or most of all of the Cruises that wanted to go to different destinations.
That would not go back to where we had already gone once or even twice.
Like Hawaii that has been one that people have been asking for along with Europe for years.Some can afford it some can't. It gives people a choice.
Will we have the whole boat.No.
However the other guests won't be traveling with 4 or 5 hundred friends.
No one is annoucing that our group will be on the Boat.
Mexico is the GAY Family vacation that we have all come to know and Love where it will be just us.

I for one am in a bit of quagmire myself.
I can't stand the fact of any R Family vacation without me on it.
I think of the Cruises like an R Fam reunion.
Let us see.

I am going to take you up on that offer and jump on a plane and see the real Hawaii.
Europe WOW I have dreamed my whole life of going to Europe and to go with baby and friends and family.
Bahama's The EPIC big Boat.Gotta have a BIG Casino.HAHAHAHA.
My problem is I wanna go on all of them.
Ok new game plan hit Lotto take everyone on the Trips all summmer no work.
Love and have missed you my Boat Peeps.
Have been working on trying to keep the Boards clean so we can actually use them.

Hey Cheryl,
We are going to Ixtapa. We want the whole R Family experience. Sorry there is no gambling there. Some people think it's going to be a big drink fest. I think I had three drinks on the last cruise. It's not about all you can drink . We want to go to Ixtapa to be surrounded by all the R Family staff and friends we made on the cruise. From what I have herd from the R Family office is that about half the rooms are already reserved. They expect to have it sold out very soon. Hope to see there

Wow, that's great that 1/2 or so rooms are reserved on the Ixtapa trip. It sounds like a great trip and with the complete rFamily vacation feeling it should be fantastic.

We, my son and I, are going to Europe to see the Pope. If we can't see the Pope, we'll feed the pigeons in the square in front of the Vatican. I can hardly wait to put that stale bread into his hands and watch the pigeons carry him away. OK, that's too vivid a visual for me. Nix feeding the pigeons.

We're going to Europe to see the Leaning Tower of Pisa. It will be great when we get to the top and see the view sideways. And then experience the tower complete its lean. OK, that's too jarring to consider any longer. Nix the leaning tower.

We're going to Europe to go to Pallma, Mallorca. What country is Mallorca in? Or is it a country at all? Thank goodness for search engines. It's the capitol city of the autonomous community of the Balearic Islands of Spain. Huh? Did I miss that geography class when I had strep throat for 12 weeks in a row? It's population is smaller than Denver's, so it sounds cozy. And we can rub elbows with the royals of Spain because that's where they vacation. Maybe I should shave my legs...and get a tan...oh, the pain, the pain. I'll just go as I am.

We're going to Europe so we can practice our Russian...Oh, as I look at the map, we're not going to be near Moscow after all. I was beginning to think one could see Russia from just about anywhere in the world. On a more serious note, it was quite a surprise when I DID realize that Moscow was part of the European continent. It took adopting a kid to get me up to snuff on the rest of the geography classes I missed when I had strep for those 12weeks in a row.

We're going to Europe and we'll be winging it and maybe throw caution to the wind and do something wild like feed the pigeons, anyway. After all, he's gained weight this year. How far could the pigeons REALLY take him or drag him more like it? Or it will be illegal to feed the pigeons and we'll spend the rest of our days in an Italian prison. Best to watch this spectacle from afar, just to be safe.

I've been to the Caribbean... and Mexico... love em' both... but WAY to humid for me in August.

So... it looks like I'm going to have to go on the Europe cruise... I can't commit yet... but it is one I will take should life go as planned... but since I just bought a new house, who knows?

ok Cheryl, consider this, Let's go do the Epic and I can swing by the city and pick you up. I'm planning on driving down there, and I just bought a 2010 Mini Van (traded in my 09 Ford Flex) so I'll have plenty of room for my scooter, and you and your luggage.

Dominic I never heard back from you. What are you planning? I thought you & your family, Kathy/Becca and I were gonna go to Europe and share a Suite??? I'm really not interested in it or Hawaii, unless we're all going as a group. Long plane rides really don't impress me without friends there. So. let's get the party started!!!

Hey Everyone,
I've decided that the Epic it will be. I'm not crazy about the long long flights for the other places and not sure how handicapped friendly Europe is towards my scooter, so Epic it is.

Kathy and Cheryl, I'll be in NYC tomorrow (Wednesday 9/30/09). Going to buy a big bus for my company so if you're available, give me a shout and maybe we can have coffee.
Kathy, how's Becca? You've been very very quiet!!!
Cheyrl, the house is wonderful and I'm excited and lucky to have had it come out so good. Alot of time, alotta lotta money and alot of aggrivation but it's worth it in the long run, because it's mine. The car (2010 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT) is nice, not as nice as my 09 Ford Flex (which I really really miss but it just wasn't practical for me and my scooter). but, I like it, I guess... It's a really pretty Royal Blue and that's the color I love the most so, it's all good.
I'm calling r-Family today to book the trip so,Caribbean, here I come.

Dominick, Cuban Pete, and everyone else, where are yas? It's too fricken quiet on here. Let's update our lives on here and keep the thread going. If you all don't post something soon, I will have to revive the Wrinkle Police and rename it the QUIET POLICE and start issueing demerits for being too quiet! WAKE UP PEOPLE!!!!

for now it doesn't look like we will be on any of the 2010 trips....Hawaii and the Epic are both scheduled during school time. We'd love both but the times are totally wrong for us. Mexico is like going in my own back yard in July...not going to pay for the heat and add in humidity too. Europe...not somewhere I want to cruise to...a place I'd go to explore in a bigger way than a cruise will allow and to places I choose etc. Plus ~ we just went in 2008.

So, I will look forward to a whole ship RFamily cruise in 2011 and hope it happens at a time when we can go and to a place we haven't been twice.

ok, I am officially booked on the Epic and I have my cabin assigned. So, Caribbean, here I come. I was going to be in NYC today, but, I've decided to hold off on buying another bus until I get the other two I have, on the road first, then see where my company is at that point. I was going to plan a weekend in Montreal, but, the other place I drive for just asked me to work. I know, I'm a working fool! LOL
Good news tho, on Tuesday, I will take on another job, a County Job with County benefits, working as a Van Driver for the County ARC. ARC is an agency who developes the challenged into working people within the community. Now, thats, let's see, I own a bus company, I drive a charter bus for another company, and now I'll be working for the ARC. hmmm 3 jobs... ok, 1 has to go.
