Airport and Shuttles??

Does any one know which airport is the closest to the resort??
Also, has anyone heard if RFamily is going to provide shuttles to the resort from the
airport????????
We missed the Alaska cruise (went to Ireland instead).
But we are so excited for Club Med - RFamily style!! :)

Hi,

The airport to fly into is airport code ZIH for IXTAPA / ZIHUATANEJO, MEXICO . Probally taking a cab to the resort will be the way. I have not heard anything about a shuttle. Hope you enjoyed Ireland. (It's a beautiful country)

I read on one of the many websites about Ixtapa that Club Med provides a shuttle from the airport to the resort. Of course, this will have to be confirmed by Club Med or R Family, but several of the "reviews" I read about Club Med stated that their family was brought to the resort via a shuttle that Club Med provided at the airport.

Make sure while checking on the airport that it is ixtapa on the pacific. The price was 3 times as much when I checked on the wrong airport. We are in SoCal and Hawaii was very expensive to fly to for us.

I couldn't even find airline pricing for that week... Maybe the price is high because it's just not available yet

Air is available to book now on many different airlines depending on your hometown. Club Med does offer transfers ($25 roundtrip) and we'll email information to all of you who have booked so you can add that to your booking.

We are looking at driving to San Antonio from KC just to get cheaper airfare but I am hoping that flights go down... It is outrageous right now... $800 a ticket times four for us...
