Attention "Forum Friends" - It's time to take your opinions and earn some $$$. Every cruise, we host some fantastic "theme parties". As you know, this summer we are sailing to the beautiful state of Alaska. It truly is one of the most beautiful places I've been.

We want you to help us come up with one of our theme parties for this summer's cruise! The winner will be announced in 10 days (March 27th) The winning party will be held on board our Alaska cruise and the winner will receive a $200 on board credit OR (if you can't join us this summer but still want to play and you win) a $200 gift card to treat your family or friends to a night out.

Send your entries to info@rfamilyvacations.com. Put "THEME PARTY" in the subject line and don't forget to send us your name and phone number and a short description of your theme.

Good luck and thanks for your input!!
:)

The Alaska Gold Rush:

Everyone should wear the Color Gold in addition to all of their Gold Jewelry and apparel

The Klondike Gold Rush, sometimes referred to as the Yukon Gold Rush or Alaska Gold Rush, was a frenzy of gold rush immigration to and for gold prospecting, along the Klondike River near Dawson City, Yukon, after gold was discovered there in the late 19th century. In total, about 12.5 million ounces of gold (about 20.12m3) have been taken from the Klondike area in the century since its discovery.

Hi All

I have been thinking about this and had a few Ideas:

1st - is a old fashioned Sock Hop ( OK I am dating myself ) with Oldie's Music from late 50's & 60's

2nd - is a Hat or Suspender Party and people can decorate them all different ways. This could be good for people with kids who don't have a lot of money in these crazy times; this could be less costly & they could have fun decorating together. Not to mention that they're easy to pack.

Only 114 days left to the cruise! We can't wait!!

"evening dress" refers to theme
We will have 3 theme parties but each night will have a "theme dress" (the non-theme party nights will be simple!)
