Our daughter will be celebrating her 13th birthday while we are on the cruise. I saw on the NCL website that they will decorate our stateroom and also leave a cake, for a fee of course. Just wondering if anyone has every done this and if you would recommend it?

Thanks,
Melissa

we did that one year and the room was decorated nice and the cake waiting as we first came into the room. It was totally a surprise for my daughter, just not for a birthday and her surprise was worth every cent I spent on it :)

I found it on the cruise lines website. (www.ncl.com) They are called Bon Voyage Gifts. If you click Onboard Activities and Events on the top of the page you will see exactly what I am talking about.
