Hi, Friends.
I'm writing to give an update on Frankie. As many of you know, she became very ill on the summer '08 cruise and we had to leave the ship in Bar Harbor.
I'm happy to report that Frankie is doing much better. Her latest labs, after a month off of the IVs look even better than the last set. We (doctors, dieticians, Frankie, me) seem to have found the right combination of food intake and supplements to keep her on the right path. It is such a great relief to have her home and able to do things like grocery shopping, going to Becca's karate classes and driving herself to PT.
We are very much looking forward to the Alaska cruise this summer. We were on the Alaska cruise in 2006 and just loved it.
Thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers while Frankie was ill. I know that they helped. Well, they helped me for sure, knowing that I had friends out there that I could count on.
