Hi everyone,
We will have pre/post hotels available this week for our Alaska Cruise. There will be two properties available: Grand Hyatt and the Sheraton Seattle Hotel and Towers. The hotel packages will also include transportation to/from the ship. We are finalizing the prices and you should be able to reserve these rooms on Wednesday, December 6th.

I have not made any hotel and/or airline arrangements yet as I have been waiting and hoping you were going to offer some pre/post arrangements.

Will you be sending out an email with this information to people who have already signed up for the cruise or will the information be on this website or the forum.

I have seen, reading the posts, that others have been waiting and wondering about this topic also.

Thanks.

We will also be traveling from Syracuse to Seattle, there are 5 of us and we will need 2 hotel rooms (actually 3 more are coming from Florida). Any specials with transportation will be great!

Great news about hotels! It will be nice to have transportation to the ship, as we are not planning to rent a car.

Today is Wednesday, December 6th. Has anyone heard from Gregg about the pre/post hotel packages yet?

Hi there,
There was a slight delay in getting the reservation info for our host hotels: The Grand Hyatt and the Sheraton. I will post all of this info at the beginning of this week. Sorry for the delay.

If anyone is looking for clean, comfortable accommodations in Seattle that are more reasonably priced than the Hyatt or Sheraton, try the Travelodge at the Space Needle. I recently stayed there and it was good value, central location and very clean. One of my favorite travel websites (lesbian owned) is www.wavejourney.com and there's a good section of recommended restaurants/cafes, etc. in Seattle. Hope this helps.

We live in Seattle. I would like to suggest some other convenient (to downtown Seattle) restaurants that were not listed on www.wavejourney.com. One is Flying Fish. It is in an area called Belltown. Very close to the piers. The other being Anthony's Bell St. Diner. I believe it is located @ pier 69. Cutter's and Ella's are great seafood restaurant's located near Pike Place Market too. We are looking forward to everyone coming to our home town!

Question for 2moms2kids?
When you mentioned Ella's near Pike Place, are you meaning Etta's? Or is there another great restaurant in that area? I agree with you that Cutter's is a great seafood restaurant and has awesome views.
