Just wondering, are there many straight couples/families on the r-family cruises? I'm assuming there haven't been any discrimination issues? I'm asking because I had a horrible experience yesterday. I have a client who is in the custody of her Grandma. The brakes went out on the Grandma's van so I went to pick the Grandma up and assisted her with getting the brakes fixed. Anyway, while in the car the Grandma explains to me that she was allowing the child's mother to have visitation with the child until she discovered that the child's mother was having a relationship with another woman. So, it was okay that the mother beat the child and abused drugs and alcohol while pregnant with the child but now that she's involved with another woman.... I wonder if it's acceptable to the Grandma that a lesbian assisted her in obtaining the financial means to get her van fixed? Among the many other things that I have done for her.

I didn't see any discrimination at all. It's the only place I have been where love and kindness are the only issues.

i have had the pleassure on being on both cruises, one accompaied by my straight sister and her kids. The all had a wonderful time. A straight friend of mine with her husband and children has also been on both cruises and I know they enjoyed themselves just as much as we did, and were equally struck by the powerful feelings on the boat.

Thanks so much for the information! I thought it must be a wonderful environment, but with my recent experience, I just needed some reassurance! Hopefully I will be seeing you all!
