music for klids - suggestions?

I am trying to put together a compilation CD of music for my 7 year old for Christmas, but I am totally inexperienced at downloading froma web site. My daughter loves jazz music, broadway (specifically Into the Woods), and hip hop.

I don't even know of a hip hop artist who is appropriate for a 7 year old to listen to!

Any suggestions of artists or websites would be welcome.

We have toddlers and teens - nothing in the middle, but they all love Sara Hickman's toddler cd (http://www.theconnextion.com/index.cfm?ArtistID=20&NoFrame=Yes). The teens steal it from the car into the house to play. Everyone knows all the songs. Sara also has a cd for older kids and Christmas stuff.

I think they are both fairly safe bets.

Walmart sells songs for $.88/each, that the cheapest legitimate way I know of to get songs.
