Hi everyone! Just so you know, my name is Nicole, I'm from NY and I'm 16 years old. I went on the July '08 RFamily Cruise.
I recently joined my local COLAGE (Children Of Lesbians And Gays Everywhere) chapter. For those of you that don't know COLAGE is basically just a group for children and teens of LGBT families to meet other kids like them, have discussions, raise awareness, and really just have fun!
I just wanted to get the word out to anyone who might not have known about COLAGE because it really is a great program.
COLAGE-NYC, the chapter I belong to, welcomes new members at every event, so come check us out! .... Our next event will be a teen only event on the afternoon of Saturday, January 31st (the exact time TBA). Details about this event will be up soon at: http://colage.org/newyork/
There are COLAGE chapters all over the country, so if you go to www.colage.org you can learn more about COLAGE and find a chapter near you.
