Hi My Boat Peeps,
Stopped by to say Thanks to everyone that I recieved offers of assistance for my annual Holiday party that I run from my Boat Peeps.I have to say I am overwhelmed and always amazed by the good in people.With all that is going on with the economy 50 Billlion stolen.
Unemployment at an all time high.Most almost all of my backers bailed and I understand..The Car industry in jeapordy,Lori and I have been having these parties for 15 years now.This was going to be the first year that I wasn't going to be able to pull it off.Believe in Miracles.I do. 7 days before X Mas I got a call at 10 to 5.An Investment Firm YES Wall Street as bad as they were doing wanted to shop for my kids.
They wanted to know what the kids wanted.They wanted to go out and personally shop for each kid.Which meant we had to talk to each kid.
I looked at Lori and said we got 10 minutes to make a decsision.You know that we have a lot on our plate your college apps, and this is a lot of work lor. "MOM please' Than the phone rang it was Frank the wonderfull guy who catered Lori's Sweet 16. When is your Party I did alright this year I am donating all the food.Cook he did .For a 100 people Ziti,Sausage and Peppers,all the way to Deserts.Than he drove it here from Jersey in rush hour on December 22nd.What an Angel.
Well in 3 days we put together what we plan for months in advance.
Loris friends all came from her school and pitched in sang with the kids,made decorations,served,gave out gifts the elf squad.
Whether you identify with Xmas,Kwanzaa,Hanukkah,
That is what I call a Miracle. That is what I call the true spirit of the Heart of people.
I feel so blessed to know that I was where I supposed to be in life at that moment.
My Love to the Boat Peeps .
My wish for all is to be where you want to be doing what makes you feel right in your heart in this coming year.
