ah, Cyndi Lauper was just wonderful! Her shows were outstanding. I love that she kicks her shoes off!!!

Yesterday I bought 'The Body Acoustic' cd and it's terrific. Couldn't hardly drive because I wanted to look at the booklet to see who was playing. It starts out beautifully with "money changes everything" (love strings) and her 'She Bop' is fabulous....and makes me laugh because of what the song is about. oh, and the duo with Shaggy in 'all through the night' is brilliant!

If you don't have it, get it!!!

I've never been on a cruise yet... July will be my first... but I saw Cyndi Lauper when she opened for Cher a couple of years ago and she was FANTASTIC.... she sang True Colors while she had the rainbow flag draped over her shoulder... she's a true supporter and what a great performer.... I would LOVE to see her on the July Rosie Cruise!!!

For the kids -

Imagination Movers - Rock and roll and lots of energy. I can't wait to give their DVD to my godson for his birthday.

Erin Lee and Marci - Especially good for the older kids who have "aged out" of the music for the really little kids. My daughter loved, loved, loved them - saw all of their shows on the Alaska cruise.

enjoyed just about everyone who entertained us on the alaska cruise, but if I had to pick out one performer I'd like to see return, I'd go with Jill Sobule... she was simply delightful.

Love Liz Callaway. Would love even more to see her AND her sister, Ann Hampton-Callaway, perform an updated version of their Sibling Revelry show on the main stage. They're great alone, but they're awsome together. I chatted with Liz after her 'cabaret' performance, and she indicated Ann would love to join her. There you go, Kelli and Greg!!

Bring back the Imagination Movers (for the kids and all of us fun loving people), along with Cathy Griffin and Cyndi Lauper! All were on the Alaska cruise and helped make it unforgetable.

For that matter, bring back Maria and her friends from Sesame Street. For me personally, this was one of the most moving things about the cruise -- having such big name children's performers performing for gay families.

I would love for Melissa Etheridge to be on the July 2007 cruise! :D Even my children love her music. I like the suggestions of Cher and Ellen D as well.

How about bringing back the Vagina Monologues? They were incredible on the Alaska cruise and of also Euan Morten who has such a beautiful voice. So far all of the talent on the cruises have been excellent. Judy Gold is always hysterical and I'd be thrilled to hear her do stand up anytime!
