A few years back, my partner and I went to P-town for a quick camping trip. We didn't know that we were arriving on the last day of Family Week. Had we known we would have brought the kids. It seemed like eveyone was having a great time. The area is magical to begin with...I can only imagine with the laughter of children.
Plan a camping trip, maybe a lodge type setup. Something easy for us to get to, pay for and enjoy at our own pace.
I have not yet had the pleasure of joining you on your boat (and don't I wish I had the means to get the family there) but I do wish my boys (before they get too old) could experience that many families in one place.
Thanks for listening - Kristin

We have been working on putting together a land vacation. We just want to make sure we can provide our guests the best possible experience. It takes about 18 months to create one of our vacations so we have enough time to sell it. We'll keep you posted but expect some r family land programs announced by this summer.

I agree and am happy to hear from Gregg that a land-based trip is in the works. A family camping trip would be great. But not too ritzy - tents or cabins and campfires, rather than a hotel or fancy lodge.

One vote here for "ritzy" camping! I've camped with large groups of families before, and trust me, if you are in tents - NOBODY sleeps!

:D AGREES WITH WHAT SHE SAID :D for all the play I do sleeping in a tent does NOTHING for me ask my partner we have been together for 4 years and the closest she has got me to camping was in a horse trailer that was fully equipped with sleeper  Right on for the RITZY part :D

I would have to vote for "not too ritzy". It's nice to have a variety of vacations with varying prices to choose from. For those who cannot afford the cruise a camping trip would be ideal. I like both, camping and cruising, but I understand cost restrictions. Our state DOT plans many camping trips (govenment workers, low cost) and they are a blast! So for me, campfires are fun, but s'mores are even better!
