I don't know alot about insurances, But I know for a fact that AAA is gay friendly and works with the gay community alot. My partner and I have our car, life and homeowners insurance through AAA because they are both gay-friendly to their clients, but alos to teir employees and have been for many many years. :D

oddly enough, we had sort of a weird success with this.

I used an normal online search for health insurance and found this link
I filled it out as a MARRIED person. when it came time to fill out the "husband" suff, I simply put in claire's info.
What happens is they give you a bunch of companies to choose from. We chose one and signed up. At the end, there was a phone number and we called to let them know our "married" status. They happen to allow it, and just changed it in their computer...but, you would have never know it as ok when we went through it to begin with......
Other people just fill it out as a single person. Either way, I thought it was a cool way to get a bunch of quotes for my area.
good luck

We hired a insurance adjuster (http://www.thepublicadjusters.biz/) after a firestorm totally damaged our shop and with help of his advice we get a best possible settlement of the insurance claim.
