Welcome home everyone!!

I, like the nerd I am, have checked the web cam on the Star like every 20 minutes throughout your trip, so it feels like I was sort of there. NOT!

We want the scoop! How was it? Any suprises? Did it live up to past years? What did we miss?!?! I want to hear it all.

I hope everyone had a great time!!

IT WAS AWESOME! We were first time R family cruisers. (took our 5 year old)
Simply incredible weather (excpet for one "hellish" stormy night on the way to Victoria). Kathy Griffin was so incredibly funny. Cindi Lauper's performance was exceptional. The best part was how diverse the families were and so gorgeous. I could go on and on...it will take a few days to decompress and truly grasp how wonderful the whole experience was.
The R Family people were the absolute BEST! Kelli and Greg (Rosie too!) are the hardest working people I have ever seen (as were all of their people). They were very visible and very busy the whole cruise, but always took time to talk with the families and kids. BRAVO R Family and thank you!

Its 6:54pm PST, hard to believe 12 hours ago we were still on the ship. The crew were already preparing for the next guests to arrive and all I could think of was, HEY, you cant come on our ship! its ours go away!

We just got in (Vancouver BC) and the first of many many loads of laundry are in.... fridge is empty and no ding dong, have a smashing day! I miss it already and may need some medical assistance to recover... kidding

Im counting the days until July 7th, 2007 although Friday night when we were at 18 ft waves I had decided I would never cruise again but I am over it now and already excited for the next trip.

I will be back with more on the cruise, Im too tired to say anymore... ;)

We're in SeaTac airport now...nearly 7PM and we won't get home until 10AM tomorrow. Already posting and sending out our photos.

Awesome time...don't agree with the long lines at dining comments that others have posted. We never had to wait.

And yes..I was the big nearly 300 lb guy crying getting off the ship because I didn't want to leave. It was the best week ever.

More to come tomorrow once we catch some sleep.

The 2nd Cindi Lauper performance with Ro on stage was simply MAGiCAL. The performance was out of a story book.....energy and happiness filled the entire ocean.....I will never forget it. To look in your wife's eyes...during True Colors.........and FEEL real..is amazing.

The Trip was awesome. Thank you Gregg, Kelly, and rFamily work-a-holics.
The weather was beautiful for basically the whole trip. (more proof that God loves Gay people).

One last BIG THANK YOU to GREG, Colleen, and the NCL Crew for our legal wedding in Victoria, BC. During our 18 years together it was the best anniversary present ever

Hi all!

The cruise was the most amaaaaaaazing experience my family has ever had. Words cannot convey the memories we have and the joy and freedom we felt while on the journey! Our lives have been changed forever in the most positive way.

Thanks to Kelli, Gregg, Rosie and the entire R Family Team for making this voyage so incredible. Each person lent us their unique gifts. Kelli is an absolutely beautiful person inside and out, Gregg is sweet, warm and caring, Rosie is strong and hysterically funny. I'm sure they all need their own moments of solitude, however, to recuperate from week of exhausting work!

Peace out!

i just got back from CVS to print out my pictures (and have them put on disc) considering it was my first time with a digital camera, they weren't so bad. The trip was wonderful. The entertainment was great and several of the Rfamily team were on my flight home. It was really great. I didn't even get a chance to read because I was so busy. And I went to the gym and the spa every day. So i worked off all those starchy breakfasts. The pics are great (some of the Stardust ones are a bit dark.) If I figure out where to post them, I will. And I just booked my hotel for Miami. I booked the Holiday Inn near the port for $199. It was actually booked up but I called the hotel itself and got one of the last rooms. I'm not sure if this is too much. But if anyone knows anything cheaper or better or closer to a beach, let me know. It can always be cancelled.:)

I have to agree with the other posters. It was magical! Our first (but not our last!) R family cruisers. Everyone is talking about the ship and performers which were incredible to say the least but the scenery was just as spectacular. Every time you thought it couldn't get more beautiful than this it would. Just amazing. Thank-you again R Family. It was a trip of a lifetime for my wife, son and I.

I agree kmoar, our thoughts exactly!!:)

I said it before, but I can't say it enough. Kelli and the whole RFamily crew were amazing, what a class act. We didn’t want to leave the ship. The feeling of warmth, love, and acceptance was overwhelming and so hard to leave. We met some of the most wonderful people we have ever had the privilege to come in contact with on the cruise. We hope to see you all again soon, and wish every single one the most joy life has to offer.

Thank you so much RFamily!!!:)

The weather was great! (Barring that one Posideon Adventure night with the 18 foot swells - but even that was a blast once the Dramamine kicked in :) )

But the best thing about the whole trip was the people. From the first moments on the ship when literally everyone you passed by said hello, to finally meeting those really special ones who you couldn't wait to meet up with again, the people on board made this cruise unforgettable. For WAY too brief of a time, my family had the chance to meet others who had kids older, younger and many the same age... including those planning brand new families, and every single one was a great reminder about the paths that my husband and I took to get where we are now.

RFamily started a very special thing - we're more happy than you know to have been a part of the cruise and to have encountered the fantastic people that we did. Hopefully see you on one of next year's trips!

OK, I can't disagree with anything ... it was marvelous, wonderful, exceeding all expectations ... except for Friday night with the freakin' storm turning much of the boat into a vomitorium. My poor wife was the only one in our family who didn't get sick -- the boys, 3-year-old twins, both threw up. I managed not to but only because I sprawled across the bed and didn't move :o while she dealt with them. She is my hero... Let's just say we left some extra gratuities behind for the room stewards... Anyone else want to try to describe the hell that was Friday between 11 p.m. and 2 a.m. Saturday??? Anyone???

My best advice for those who ever encounter a friday night from hell like we had: Do "not" eat tempura "fried" chocolate cake before encountering 18 foot swells."

And do not, I repeat do not have a frozen Margarita one hour before "The Perfect Storm" hits, thank goodness for large Zip-loc bags!

:D We had such a marvelous time that exceeded any preconceived notions. WE formed new frienships on board. WE were told by the Norweigen crew that they have neve seen such well behaved kids. I actualy got into fitness mode with my new friend Susan Powter-I adore her! I only encountered a few rude people on board-when saying hello they grunted:mad: That was conteracted by the wonderful hospitality of the crew and all the amazing people on board.
I am delighted to say that we formed lasting friendships with my on line cohorts-Wendy,Kim&Jill. In fact we will be joining Kim and Jill in Canada for Thanksgiving. Kelli and Rosie were steller. Made marvelous frienships with Stacy and Stacy-danced every night at the Spinnacker with them except for hell night at sea-which I spent with a friends in the lounge on prescription tranquilisers-(they came in handy) I did not get sick until 3:00 am. when the sea claimed me as its victim-it was most unfitting for a baroness.
For all the new friends we met-love to you! thank you God for this experience-we will be on board next summer with our two new additions.=family of five. My son still is asking"when can I see my new friends Ben(son of Kim & Jill_and an angel of light!: and many other kids too lenghthy to mention.
Best regards to all of you-Darlings-cannot wait until next year-love, peace and light-PAPA JIM, John and Steven.:o

It was awesome, even the little storm!

One word of warning... Don't walk on a wet floor with a G&T in your hand... The glass broke, my knee is still sore... Just another wonderful memory!

The trip couldn't have been better!

We were first time R Family Vacationers, we simply had the best time! This was our second cruise, our first was not even close to being this great.

The shows were spectacular! Especially the second Cyndi Lauper show. When they (Cyndi, her band and Ro) started their little jam session, I knew we were witnessing greatness. Thank you for that! (Too bad they didn't record that for an album) I guess I'll just have to settle for "The Body Accoustics" CD.

We enjoyed the services and events scheduled for children. Our son is almost 3 years old, and there was plenty of activities to keep him busy. In fact, there were so many things going on for kids that we weren't able to attend them all.

I don't think we'll ever take a non-R Family Vacation again!! Thank you, Kelli, Gregg, Colleen and especially Rosie for this wonderful vacationing experience. We can't wait for the next cruise.

Ok back to reality, Im sitting at my desk (not able to concentrate at all) reading this post and laughing out loud with tears in my eyes thinking about the night at Spinnakers with Stacy and Stacy, Papa Jim, the dancing boys and our other dancer (Romania) and how I never came so close to peeing my pants laughing so hard... I realize that I am physically not cut out for modern dance or Pirouettes!
Stacy and Stacy thanks for the laughs it was so much fun.... We better see you next summer!
Baroness - the wild seas kept your tirara on a tilt or was that just the pd's? :p
