Hawaii would be FANTASTIC! And the best part about it is that NCL has several brand new ships that cruise the Hawaiian islands.

Count me and my 15 year old daughter for in for Hawaii. My vote is summer 2007. Could we plan it for the end of the summer so we wont suffer from post cruise depression for the rest of July and the entire month of August. LOL. We have gone on both cruises and cant wait until ALASKA. Aww is it really only December!

Northeast - Nova Scotia 2005
Northwest - Alaska 2006

Next should be Southwest - Hawaii!! 2007 :)

We couldn't agree more!

We go to Hawaii at least once a year - but never seem to leave Waikiki (we love it there) - this would be the perfect way to explore all the islands! Hawaii is a fantastic gay/lesbian and family destination! ALOHA!!!!

I am going to post what may be an unpopular opinion. I think Hawaii is a vacation destination that many go to on thier own. I vote for more exotic locations in the Carribean and other tropical destinations. A place that you wouldnt normally go. Hawaii is easy to get to and affordable with specials all the time. I would probably never have gone to Alaska on my own. But our family goes to Hawaii at least twice a year because it's affordable and easy to get to.

I want to cruise to a place that is exotic like the upcoming Turks and Caicos cruise. I can hardly wait for that trip. I was excited about it when we were in Alaska!!!

Sorry if I'm on the unpopular side of this issue.

How is Hawaii so easy and inexpensive to get to? I always thought it was extremely expensive to fly into Hawaii.

And the other great thing about a Hawaiian cruise is that there are no casinos!!! So, for those of us who have a better half who likes to gamble - sorry:eek: ... but, just think that you'll all be able to pay for the next vacation with the $$$ you didn't lose.

Cheers!

Hawaii does not permit gambling - therefore, the ships do not have a casino!

HEARD a Nasty rumor about NO GAMBLING if we go to Hawaii. Wait, I am trying to catch my breath. Ok I am breathing. I have no doubt that the brilliant minds at NCL will figure out a way to stay in International waters so we can gamble right?
Gregg you might have to call Captain Stubing or better known as our own ( Simon) on this one.
Oh where are my zanax?

Yes, you did the special gay version - the Vineyard and Provincetown. We usually spend a few days in P-town at Frankie's cousin's place. Luisa (the cousin) said that your ship was the biggest thing she's ever seen in the harbor there.

For those who want to see New England in the fall, the colors are much better inland where there are more maples and birch rather than the oaks that grow on Cape Cod.

I just had friends do a Hawaii cruise and they said the casinos were open on the water and it was an NCL ship.

Another awesome cruise would be Australia/New Zealand. Norwegian doesn't cruise that area.

This was my second cruise and first with Norwegian....I am hooked with Norwegian and the freestlye dining.....rfamily and NCL are a match made in heaven. Excellent choice Ms. Rosie!

The no - casinos rule is actually a Hawaiian State Law. The NCL ships that are based there are the only "U.S. flagged" ships in the world which means that there are no international waters and no passports (for U.S. citizens).

When NCL negotiated the ability to have ships that were based in the U.S. (every other cruise line and other NCL ships are foreign flagged), they had to agree to take out the casino.

Oh NO! What will Sharon Gless do for the week?
Hold smoky late night poker games in her suite.... ;)

LOL KIM - I don't think poker games are Ms. Gless's style. Tried to talk her into playing table games instead of those stupid one arm bandits that had her glued to them. She said "Oh those things have minimums" "They take your money very fast" I could only smile.
