Hi everyone!

I am new (so be nice to me)

My partner and I are adopting from Guatemala. We are looking into the Feb 2007 cruise.
Our son, Carter, will be 9 months at that time.

I would love any opinions on whether we should take the trip or wait until he is older to cruise with him.

I have searched high and low for gay family vacation ideas but this seems to be it

Thanks

Ohhhhhh Michael and Van,
9 months is such an amazing time...You actually start being able to count on two hands hours of sleep in a night...they smile, play, they actually WANT to be held...and they are usually not far from where you put them down:D

You'll have a great time. We are dads with our kids ( will be 3 and 5 yrs by Feb 2007) and we can't wait. Time for us Dads to get some social time with OUR community!

Congrats again. This parent thing is an AMAZING journey :)

You must go! My partner and I will be on that cruise as well-we will have our new son then. We have our 7 year old as well, and are going on the Alaska cruise. Plus everone loves babies!

You will have a blast. And it doesn't hurt to have everyone tell you how beautiful your baby is every time you get on the elevator. People generally don't even mind if you take your baby to movies or evening shows, so you won't miss much. We also had good experiences with the nannies.
