We are first time cruisers and will be driving from Nebraska to Seattle, as we have friends to visit there also. We are also slightly handicapped and will be bringing our motorized mobility carts on board in order to get around the ship. Do you know where one can park their car for the week during the cruise? We did not see any excursions that could accomodate motorized carts, only wheelchairs. Anyone know anything different that we can do in port? We are really looking forward to this trip, where we can be at "home" with family. Have booked a balcony suite on deck 11. See ya there!!!

We were on the Mexico trip in March. We stayed at a "resonably price" motel for one night in San Diego (drove from Phoenix) and they allowed us to park the car there for the whole week. I realize you're seeing friends but you might want to spend one night in a hotel just for the parking. If I remember, it was less than $100 for the room and therefore the parking.

Thanks for the hotel parking idea, but we do have the mobility carts and luggage to take on board, so need to unload at the pier. Is there parking at the pier? If not, suppose we can unpack all at pier and then take van back to hotel and take taxi to pier. Any more ideas would be helpful.

Here is a link to the port and info on parking. We will be leaving from Pier 66 Bell St.

Yeah, you'll have to take a cab to the pier any way (so you can leave your car at the hotel) so unloading there and coming back would just mean a longer process. Plus you have to talk to the local hotels about the idea. We found it in San Diego so there is no reason to think they would do it in Seattle too.

live an hour south of seattle.. when i have left out of the port to go to victoria bc - there is parking garage across the street.. and it's pretty reasonable really no more than parking overnight at the airport lot or whatever. Google the Seattle Center and then figure out which port number the NCL leaves out and figure out the closest parking garage.

Thanks, that's just what I did. Found a place to park close and then will just drive our wheelchairs w/luggage over to the pier. thanks to all for your help. See ya in July!!!
