Has anyone started looking for a hotel in Seattle? Looks like we depart from the Bell Street Pier #66. There is a Marriott directly across from the terminal which is the one that we booked. Should be very convenient for boarding. Not really sure what other hotels are in the area close by.

We stayed at the Grand Hyatt, which was lovely - right downtown - when we went on the last Alaska cruise. We really loved the hotel, and it was centrally located downtown. We took a cab to the cruise terminal.

we are staying at the Hilton Bellevue. it's got a pool and it's about 6 miles from the pier but MUCH MUCH cheaper. There are still some rooms left and if you have AAA you get a discount.
a room for the three of us was about $140
Happy hoteling!!

I’m extending the vacation and part of the trip will be 3 days in Seattle. Wanted to stay downtown and heard mostly positive reviews about the Ace Hotel. Not really a hotel, and probably not for families, but definitely seems to be a less expensive option with a clean room.

I thought yesterday I read some where that there was a hotel accross from the pier? Does anyone know?
On the last Alaska cruise we stayed about 10 miles away but wanted to get closer. Being close and traveling with young babies is so much easier.
Thanks,
Chris

Calling all previous Alaska cruisers; anyone stay at the Warwick? Rates seem reasonable.

We stayed t the Downtown Courtyard Marriot and were not very immpressed as far as Marriots go.Our friends stayed at the Sheraton I believe on the Pier and it wasn't much more than we paid for the Marriot. I used Marriot points and Cards. I am going to check and after I have the particulars will post..I am going to check with them today.
Oh and this has nothing to do with this thread but since I am here congrats to the new addition to your family and I am so happy that you got a secure Suite ;)

Hey All...
well i know there will be a room at the Hilton. UNfortunately Sherri and I and Asia have to cancel this time around. The Canadian Dollar is dropping like a brick and it's just not feasible for us to go this time.
Wishing everyone a safe and happy trip!
believe me if anything changes we will be there in a flash!
Cheers everyone

When we booked our reservation last week with Gregg, I asked about hotels in Seattle. He told me (if I understood him correctly) that NCL has hotel and that there would be a block of rooms available there for those of us who wanted to book.
Does anyone know where this hotel might be? Did anyone else ask Gregg about a place to stay in Seattle?

I looked at the hotel that NCL uses and R Family has set up but it is not that much less expensive than the Marriott which is directly across the street from the cruise terminal. I guess we will stick with that and I will watch the rates to see if they drop.
