Hi fellow cruisers. We here in California are fighting for our lives. Right now, it's a dead heat. If Prop 8 passes, we lose our marriage rights. If it fails, our marriages will continue to be recognized, making it that much easier for the next state to secure their rights. Please, if there is any way that you can help, go to www.noonprop8.com and make a donation.
Thanks,
Linda & Carole

You are so right. We really need this to hold in California. It will make it much easier for other states to secure rights. We can not take a step backwards. Please everyone tell everyone you know to donate anything you can.

Arizona is running constant ads for our prop 102 also....primarily funded by the Mormon church from what I have heard....and while we haven't voted in marriage, they did vote in something already to give constitutional rights (not worded right...can't think of what its called at the moment) This proposition is meant to overturn the prior one and its incredibly depressing and frustrating that people cannot seem to let people love who they want, how they want and just let things be. They are saying they are "defining marriage", one man, one woman. Good God one would think this is somehow hurting someone somewhere when in fact passing it is what will cause immense hurt. Grrrrrrrrr!

I love polls when they're accurate and support my position. Let's hope the recent polls are accurate. All we need to do is keep over 50% against!:)

The latest polls do seem to be changing, but it's still too close to call. Check out Ellen's commercial: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cd_ai2LrgJ0
Thanks to everyone who has been so supportive!!!
