Actually they are pricing by 3rd and 4th passenger rather than ages this time. A new twist just when I cypher up how many kidneys we will have to sell in order to go. It is okay though because most of us came with two!

we have done the alaska cruise with rfamily before and it is breathtaking. In addidion to that, you will forever be changed just by being part of RFamily for the week! this is our sixth and we keep coming back :)
so, that being said...if you have to scrimp and save, beg or borrow to join the fun, DO IT, you will so not regret it.

That was our first and only rfamily trip. We took last year off to pay for 07:p
It is a trip we will always remember and a venue that we want to continue to participate in with our children. Nothing better for a vacation with folks just like us and our kids...

Then we could get Leslie Gore too! Wow, they should let us help doncha think ??? For last summer someone (?) made lots of great suggestions like the roaring 20's and so on. Sorry Girl, but I am definitely not going on the R Family Cruise to Alaska next summer: Gregg recently informed me that R Family was not able to offer any discounted rate for singles this year… and let us face it… I am neither an “Inside Stateroom” nor a “Roommate” type of person: When I am on vacation I like my limited (and even in a Balcony Stateroom its limited) luxury and stretched out sleeping space. Besides, I actually used to LIVE in Alaska… so now when I go back, it will be to the interior, which is where I used to call “home.”

While I am certain to miss all of the fabulous people, I have met on my four previous R Family Cruises… I have decided to embark on a Holland America Cruise (which I really enjoyed on the R Family Cruise to Mexico last March) from Florida to California via the Panama Canal next summer… a two-week trip for less money. The recent bear market has hit my finances hard and I now have to choose how I spend what I have left wisely.

I will check in on the forums from time to time… and I look forward to hearing about your cruise upon your return, but for now, I will bid the forums adieu!

I'm feeling likes it's REAL now that I've booked our airfare and finished paying for the cruise! It also helps that Spring is in the air and that winter is finally behind us. :)

I have just brought the suitcases down. Our son wants his own suitcase-he is 1 month short of 2 years. He likes pulling my work briefcase with wheels around and now wants to pull something with his toys and clothes. lol He packed 3 swim trunks, toys, and his blankie. I guess his packing is all done.

He will be the 3ft. sweet heart walking up to all the ladies and flirting. He loves the ladies so chances are he will introduce himself to you if you are on the main pool deck (that's where he liked to be last year so I assume we will be there a lot again this trip). PS he just put his toothbrush in his backpack. lol

This is fantastic. He's got the right things packed. *You* can take care of the rest! When our son was 3, he really wanted his own wheelie bag, so we found a somewhat small one for him. We set the rules: 1. It is your job to pack it. 2. It is your job to pull it. 3. It is your job to be careful. 4. I will NOT carry/pull it for you. He agreed, and only once asked me to take over - and of course I did NOT. He only clunked one person, he never had trouble getting it onto and under the seat on a plane, and learned to manage it on an escalator. He gave that bag up 4 years later for a backpack because it "is just easier"! See what you have to look forward to? Keep on having fun, eh?

You had better watch out for him. He loves scooters and wheelchairs. His Tia (aunt) puts him in her lap when we are camping and he controls her wheelchair up and down the beach campsites.
