Hello everyone…
I normally don’t do any posting on any type of political issues but like millions of gays/ lesbians/bi/transgender people around the world this subject is one that is very close to my heart as I am sure it is for all of you
Tonight I was coming home from work with my sister rosie which we have been doing for years and sometimes we stop at a local dunkin donuts on the way home to get a quick cup of coffee, my sister Rosie was waiting outside for me and when I looked outside I noticed her talking to these 2 ladies which seemed lost to me from where I was standing so I thought Rosie was given them directions so I got my coffee and out I went, one of the 2 village idiots and I use this term whole heartily as you will see why I say this, anyway one of the 2 ladies turns to me and says, hello my name is Lucretia Regina Potter and I am running for Assemblyman – I am the Candidate for the 49 Assembly District . I said with a big smile, congratulations and we wish you all the best with the elections. She proceeded to say to me to vote for her; by the way she is a registered republican – conservative – right for life candidate. Anyway, so I had to ask that magical question “DO YOU BELIEVE IN GAY MARRIAGE. “Well I should have never asked that question.
She replied, I don’t believe in gay marriage and I will not support it, I only believe that “ THEY “ and the they meaning us gay folks should have benefits, insurance and she believes in domestic partnership but not marriage to the same sex, and I have to pose this other question, ok who says that we should not be allowed to marry in a church of the persons practicing faith, Lucretia Regina Potter replied “ GOD SAID SO AND HE WROTE ABOUT IT “ now you see why I called her a village idiot which I then replied, the bible is man made written and any true god would want for people who love each other to be together in any faith that they practice again the village idiot replied, sorry I cant be for that, marriage is made for man and woman only. So I said, sorry I can not vote for someone like you that express’s their religious points of view and may actually be able to vote on passing a law that will effect me when in effect we vote these people into office to represent us and do the a job that will make a place for us better to live in not make it worse.
People you had to see this lady, I said to her that anyone regardless of there gender anyone should have the right to marry in a religious ceremony of there practicing faith and not be told they can not because god does not believe in it, who are we to say what a true god would believe, these people we call gods lived millions of years ago and are not in our shoes today and why would a god want to see people always being hurt about who and how they should love one another or spend their life together , and who gives these politicians the rights to speak about there views when again they all they should be doing is a job that they voted to do and make this a better planet for humans to live.
I will sure not never vote for a political person such as Lucretia Regina Potter
These people running for public offices should be concerned about passing bills that will help all. I don’t want a person in office that will make a decision for me that will affect my husband and me.
Michael and I have been together for 12 years and not now or not ever will any politician ever make a decision for us. We both have families that can do that for us in case we are not able to not someone running for public office I have never met and stands outside a train station at 10:30 at night and is seeking for a vote which will probably be the only time I will ever see her and she will hide like all politicians do after election day, until then these people come out of the woodwork stalking us for a vote, every single day.
When these politicians come to my door and want to pay my bills and take care of everything else for me then I will give them that vote they are so looking for, until then don’t approach me with your religious views and just do the job you have been elected to do. HELP US FOLKS AND TAKE CARE OF EVERYDAY ISSUES.

And for anyone who lives in the her district please say no to her being elected, we need someone who believes in us……not another person who could never imagine what a true god would believe in. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH
