She is vacationing with her wife and kids. She vacationed on the cruise last summer, and must have really enjoyed it to vacation with rfamily again this year. She is taking a week off from her touring schedule to cruise with her family.

We heard the first concert of her tour in Vegas this last Saturday and it was totally awesome. She played HARD and for 3 hours! At that speed, she is going to need some rest and relaxation. It was so incredibly good to see her back and healthy and she seemed to love being there. What energy and inspiration ~ I wish we could just drive behind the bus and go to all the shows, it was THAT good!

I noticed the break in her schedule and sent an email to Rosie (thats my question you see on her blog!) :D

We aren't getting off in BC because we don't want to miss the slide show and hopefully Melissa that night..since thats when she played last year.

Any newbies out there..don't miss that slide show..it is the best..makes me cry every time!

Glad to hear I'm no the only one out there reading her blog..I feel like a stacker sometimes!

Victoria is quite beautiful and to date; Melissa will not be performing this year. So if you want to see Victoria, please go ahead and see it. Dont miss the gardens!

We have many other amazing performers and trust me, you will not be disappointed.

They run 2 that night..8 and 10 in the past. It is sooooo amazing to watch this the last night of the cruise...last year Melissa played 3-4 songs after each show..she wasn't suppose to play then either ;)

everyone on board will have such an outstanding time on this cruise..i went on both cruises but we are unable to make this one.my point is.if u want to go see melissa in concert she is touring this summer.yes we all were extremely LUCKY to see her perform last year..the atmosphere of this cruise is so loving and accepting that i would not change my plans to see if melissa is going to perform..enjoy youR family on board ..the last day is the only thing to stress about.........no disrespect to melissa i am a huge fan but hey shes a very busy mommy and mommy to be again.I WISH EVERYONE A MAGICAL VOYAGE..I KNOW IT WILL BE FOR U..

If ME is not going to perform then I strongly reccomend that if you are anywhere near where she is performing on her tour this summer, GO SEE HER!!! Saw her last Sat night here in Portland and she was AMAZING! Best concert i've ever been to including her previous concert here. 3 solid hours of rockin music! Completely awesome! Go see her if you can!

We have tickets to see her in DC in Aug this year..can't wait. This is my 11th concert of hers..she rocks! I can't imagine she won't play a little something on the cruise..like last year. She said after about 4 days of seeing all the awesome entertainment, she couldn't stand it anymore and had to play...my money is on her playing!

This thread makes me feel old. Last time she toured, we got third row seats. This time, we are passing her up to take the kids to the Wiggles. I really wouldn't mind if she played on the ship.

Absolutely delighted Melissa and Tammy will be on board. We missed her performance last year (illness), but so happy she's well and will join us.

We're so excited! There's *nothing* like an r-family cruise!

My partner and I have tickets to see Melissa tomorrow night. Her concerts rock and the crowd is totally into her music and ...well gay or gay friendly. For the hour(s) or so that she is on stage we can dance, sing and just be ourselves in public. She gives a great big piece of her heart in concert and deserves a vacation. :)

We saw her in Long Beach the Friday night before she left for the cruise. We had front row seats. Did not need them since she played for 3 hours without leaving the stage and had the crowd of 3700 on their feet the entire time.

What a talent, what a show, what a gal. Truly the best live show I have ever seen.
