Help
Can someone give ussome advice; When would be the best time to book the Airfare for the February 2007 Cruise. Right now we see that the prices are high, even with the discount code that RFamily gives. What we are wondering when does the airfare go down or, is it the price that it is now always?
We just want to be able to get the best price and be able to stay with in the budget that we have set for this cruise.
We hope that we don't sound crazy, but this is our first Cruise as a family and we want to make sure that we get the best bang for our buck.
We look forward to hearing all of your responses.

I would wait and watch. If you go to travelocity.com you can do a fare watcher and it will tell you when it changes. If you track it for a couple months you will get an idea of what a good price to pay should be. Also check smaller airlines like Southwest and such sometimes they have really good specials.

I forgot to add. I would not wait too long into the fall because that is the beginning of spring break and it will be harder to find flights.

Do yourselves a favor and book your airfare NOW. Fares do not go down over a holiday week. If it's possible for you to fly a couple of days early and come home a day or two later that will help with price.

The way that gas prices are continuing to spiral, the airfare will continue to go up too. I guess it is your call as to what you think. But, as someone else said, that is spring break week and the airlines are always jampacked and usually don't have any spare seats.

Now would be the best time to buy guys. As soon as possible. Tickets are cheaper this far out. Indeed, I've done some checking and you guys could get tickets as low as $334 round trip out of burbank and similar at L.A.X.

Book it NOW!! That is Spring Break and intersession on the east coast (New York anyway). The price will not go down. It will go up and you will find it harder and harder to find a flight.

Hi Guys,
One more thing... if you use the discount code given by R Family (A1527AA) You will save around $30 on each ticket with American Airlines. You will find tickets right now at about $330 round trip with American Airlines out of LAX, Burbank and San Diego. Ontario is about $450... and Palm Springs... don't ask!

Jeff & Darrell-
We had to book out of Minneapolis 3 days before the cruise leaves. We actually fly into Miami Thursday night late. The flights were totally booked to Miami because of the Spring Break holiday and Presidents Day. I would book now - the cheapest we could get was $489.00 round trip. Good luck.

You may want to monitor any new routes being added from the airlines. The prices were high from NY also and the choices limited so we waited. Last week they added Airtran to one of the Hudson Valley Region airports. I immediatley went online and found the perfect flight arriving on Sat and returning on Sunday afternoon.Better yet they were non stop flights for under $200 round trip.
