Pregnant after 5 years of trying!!!

After five years of trying my partner and I are finally pregnant. We just started to gather information about embryo adoption and foreign adoption because we had just about given up that we'd be able to do it. Unbelievably I am pregnant!!! Last year we brought our 4 year old niece on the cruise. This year we'll do Alaska on our own with perhaps a couple of buns in the oven and a bunch of amazing supportive friends.:) :) :) Can't wait for the trip!

Thank you!! Yeah, 5 years is a long time. We we just about to give up too. I'm so looking forward to the cruise. The first few months were a bit rough!! Thanks again!:)

Congratulations! My partner and I tried (both of us at one time or another) for 2 years when we finally got our wish and now have a beautiful almost 4 year old boy. We were about to give up when it happened. Bravo for sticking with it!! It's an unbelievable gift!

It was the single best thing I ever did, having my daughter and I totally did it on my own. I cannot imagine life without her. I got pregnant with her on the very first "try" but I clearly remember the constant visits to the fertility doc when trying to have a second one...the hormones get you up and down and all over. I nver did have a second, just a miscarriage but it was obviously meant to be just as it is. You are going to LOVE being a Mom! Congrats!!!

Thank you everyone. You're all very sweet. The Alaska trip was awsome. Plenty of food which at this point is what I care about most, hee hee hee!! My doctor was on the ship as well and made a comment about how much I must love the food supply! I did very well suprisingly and didn't get sick the night of the storm. Thanks again to all of you for your warm wishes!!!

Not only was I pregnant after 5 years of trying but I just gave birth to twins. Two boys, Ethan and Aidan, born on December 11th. We're so excited and very tired. We can't wait to bring the boys on a future cruise, we're just not sure when!!

Congratulations! I know how happy you both must be. Enjoy your little bambinos because even though it doesn't seem so at the moment, they won't stay little long.

One day you will look at them, 6' tall, looming over you, and wonder when they got that big.......as I did a couple of months ago when I looked up at my 14-year-old son and wondered, where did my baby go :(

Your sons are so gorgeous! The movie brought tears to my eyes, remembering the feelings after my children were born; ALMOST makes me want to have another one ;-) Thank goodness my second granddaughter will be born in a bit more than three months!

We're going on the July cruise with the twins!!! Yahoo!! They've kinda been on a cruise before when I was pregnant. They'll be 19 months old on the ship. Can't wait. I guess we'll be in the toddler room most of the time. Tee hee hee hee!!!!
