Amazing Weekend

I just spent the most amazing 24 hours with 38 kids. My 2 sons decided to do a fund raiser to bring awareness to homeless youth for Global and National Youth Service weekend. My older son is a member of GSA at his high school (he is straight) My younger son got in contact with other GSA and other clubs. This weekend 5 public high school's GSA clubs along with others got together and spent 24 hours living in cardboard boxes. You have never seen a better behaved group of kids. about 1/2 were gay and 1/2 straight. Really shows hope for the future. They all did so great, we all learned so much and had an awesome time doing it. We actually had a couple homeless kids there with us but nobody but 2 of us knew. It was awesome.
