A loser is defined as, “a social misfit; somebody who is unable or unwilling to adjust to society.” So describing me this way seems completely… uh… humm… this sounds familiar…

Thhhhhhbbbbbbbt! [Douglas raspberry’s the thread]

For those of you who do not know me… you can read the “Countdown to the Caribbean: A Losers Log” thread and learn more then you ever wanted to know.

For those of you who DO know me… I’m baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack! :D

It has been almost eight months since the R Family Cruise (to the Caribbean) and I consider it one of the best vacations of my life. Indeed, the people I met here on the R Family Forums made it so fun and memorable that I still smile when I think about them. While I am single and travel alone, I did not spend one waking minute on the Caribbean Cruise by myself (that I did not want to) due to the love and joy provided by my fellow forum posters who made every day of that vacation a fabulous one. Indeed, I made several friends that I love and adore to this day. :o

After a summer of seemingly endless “negative” posts about what R Family did wrong—and I’m not saying that they didn’t do anything wrong: I wasn’t on the July 07 Cruise or in Provincetown—I think it’s time to celebrate what R Family does right; which is to bring a bunch of gay people together so that they can go on a family vacation and not feel abnormal or out of place. In addition, they provide entertainment that is top-of-the-line. I celebrate their endeavor and I cannot wait until the Mexico Cruise. (I have a countdown clock on myspace that you can access by clicking on the URL below my signature).

It is time for the countdown to begin… again… uh… oh, wait… I am still here by myself… I need people to count with…

Humm… in the mean time I am going to practice my Spanish:

Hablo muy poco español.

Entiendo muy poco español.

Bebí el agua y tengo diarrea explosiva. ¿Dónde está el cuarto de baño?

Hey there Douglas ~

We are right there with YOU and counting down with ya again too. I agree with all you said about Februarys Carib cruise.
So glad we are going to have another week together...
now, if we could just find a way to get Wendy and Terese out here on this ship with us... how cool would that be.

Big Hi's to all the rest of you that we have posted with (and its been awhile...) Can't wait to see who our forum group will include in the next few months and who we will meet and see again come March. Cheryl, did I see that you are coming to Mexico? Way cool :)

Hi everyone,

I apologize for not posting quickly but life is still keeping me a little busy. I am hoping that things calm down by the end of next week. We have been having a dust storm here in the desert for two days…

Crazy, Patty (Nightowls), Jan V & Picfan… it is great to hear from all of you again. ;)

Jan & Picfan, I am sad to hear that you are not going on the Mexico Cruise but I’ll take comfort in knowing that I’ll be with my little Nightowl & Travelgirl.

Hey! Crazy... are you going on the Mexico Cruise or not? I thought you were going but then you said it would take a miracle… so now I am confused. Which is it? Yea or Nay?

Hi Everyone!

I heard that Doug started up this thread so I just had to hop online to see y'all. I have not been online for a VERY long time :-( Too many things in RL keeping me busy.

I am sorry to say that, unless I win the lottery which will enable me to quit my job, I will not be attending either the March OR the July cruise as I will not have enough vacation AS my lovely daughter Karin (whose wedding darlin' Doug and Nightowls, along with Travelgirls attended in Las Vegas) is going to make me a grandmother for the FOURTH time in late June 2008!!!!!! I am so psyched! But sadly, I will have to use my vacation time then instead of on the cruise.

BUT wait, either I win the lottery OR my new business, HERBALIFE, might take off and I will be able to quit work and not have to answer to a J-O-B and will have vacation WHENEVER I want and for HOWEVER LONG I want! That would be fantastic and then I could come on BOTH cruises in March AND July!

So, if anyone out there would like to find out a safe, nutritious way to LOSE weight or a great way to MAKE MONEY, contact me and I will guide you!

Great seeing everyone again!

Hugs, Wendy

PS - This past week I have been in CA (LOVE this weather, it is NOT like NY!) and I had the opportunity to visit our forum host, the fantastic DOUG! I think he will tell you all about it shortly. Terese says hello to y'all :-)

Hi Everyone,

I apologize for not posting and keeping things going but my life continues to be a bit hectic: My Sister Dana was among the evacuees from the recent fires in San Diego County. The fire did not consume her house but she had to spend two or three days at my parents house waiting it out. I, personally, was immune to the fires because they were all inland from the desert; however, when the winds changed from Santa Anna’s to an on-shore flow, much of the smoke blew into the Coachella Valley and settled here for a few days.

**Choke** *Cough*** Sputter***Hiss**….

Icky!!!

I have not even had the opportunity to post about the recent visit paid here in Palm Desert by my two fabulous cruise friends from Syracuse, New York, Wendy (Wigglewomyn) & Terese:

http://i152.photobucket.com/albums/s179/dmuir62/myspace%20stuff/100_0052.jpg

It was wonderful to see them again and I will really miss them on the Mexico Cruise. It still amazes me that I made such good friends here on the forums and on the Caribbean Cruise and the Charity Cruise in December 2006, (I wonder where Trisha is.)

I hope others take the time to stop in, post on this thread, and make new friends before the cruise. I also hope that I will have more time to post in the near future and that maybe I can generate some excitement. :D

Doug I am not sure if you are sick or we are.

I am not sick honey! I have not even had so much as a sniffle since May.

Does it have to be an either / or?

Humm?

[Douglas ponders the question]

Are you two talking about the Big Red Button? I think it is HYSTERICAL… so maybe I am sick!

Oh, one more thing before I go… I designed a “MySpace” page for Crazy. I am not done with it yet (I need to make some fixes) but I was wondering if some of you could look at it and tell me what you think. I would appreciate any suggestions on how to improve it.

Yes, Douglas; the big red button. It was fun and annoying at the same time.

Good to hear that your sister's home survived the fires. I need to get in touch with my aunt and uncle in Vista and find out if they are OK. They are retired Navy folks in their mid-80's and still pretty active.

We won't be on the Mexico cruise, but we will be on the summer cruise. That crazy Cheryl is going to take us to a REAL Italian restaurant. Frankie's mom's parents came from a little Italian village south of Naples and her uncle Mario is from Milan, so she knows her Italian foods. We have so much planned in NYC before the cruise, then the cruise, then a couple of days in New Hampshire (as long as we're on the east coast) that I think that I will need a rest after my vacation!

OK Douglas,

As I am trying to teach my son, so must I go. I am following directions. I will not press the BIG RED BUTTON. I am doing what I am asked. I have waited 3 days. It just sits there, looking at me. I will wait it out.... I have patience. Lots of it... Ask my son! OK, better not to ask him because he has entered the lying stage... I will wait. *sigh*...

Hi, Laurie. I'm sitting here in Minnesota with snow falling outside. I've been very busy at work and here at home, I'm trying to de-clutter the place before Frankie's dad arrives in about 2 weeks. We had a good Thanksgiving. I hope that you did as well.

I am not telling Zach he would be full of envy. That child was born to live in cold weather and here he sits stuck in Florida. We are trying to get everything ready to go to Louisiana for the Hurricane Katrina Christmas Party. Not as many kids this year which is good. We said they were only getting gift bags and no presents this year but the giftbags are really getting full. So each kid is getting a gift bag and pesent from Zach. Although he says it is all from Santa. Zach is so excited about going. Rosie is donating coats for each of the kids too. So at the party they are getting a gift bag, gift and a coat. Milk and cookies with Santa and each family with get a ham dinner to cook on Christmas. We got the hams and some other organizations donated food for the boxes and Rosie's For All Kids is paying for the stuff to decorate the boxes. So the kids will be covered and have a most excellent holiday....WE HOPE!!!

There are really some awesome kids doing some awesome things out there trying to make a difference. So even after you read the stories you dont feel inclined to vote for Zach, please vote for someone. Programs like these only survive with public support. So the more hits the website get the better. Thanks to you all for voting! It must have worked because he is in the top three! He could not have gotten the news on a better day. He had his surgery yesterday and was in so much pain. When they called and gave him the news he was so out of it but it made him smile. Then last night as he is screaming in pain, tears streaming down his face, I asked Rosie to say Hi to him on her site and she did. Little smile crossed his face and the tears stopped for a second. Luckily today he is feeling a bit better. I was bound and determined either he or I was going on some major drugs today if his pain wasn't better. LOL
The best part though is we found out he will not require another surgery immediately. (this was his 5th) Like we had thought he would.
That's the good news, the bad news is we already canceled the cruise for March and July because we were unsure what we would be facing. I think his Dr will be enjoying a cruise after I pay the bill though. LOL
So maybe next year we can go again.

Hey, Kelsey! Is your birthday the 10th? Mine too. I'm a lot older than 13, a A LOT OLDER . I have a bad cold, so we have not yet celebrated my birthday. I may wait until July and have a little party on the cruise! July is only a few months away!

Hey Laurie,
Sorry to hear about Zach's surgey but happy to her he is feeling better today.
I will keep you guys in my prayers.I hope that he gets better soon.
I am gald to hear he came in the top three. He should he is a very special young man.
Hang in there.

Hey Picfan,

Please tell Zach "get well soon" for me. He's a great kid who is really a man in kids' clothing - LOL! I hope nobody had to add extra drugs and the pain is subsiding...

Hmmm good question. I got so spoiled to NCL and there way of doing things.
Oh well as long as someone can point me in the direction of the CASINO:D
I think I will be able to find the other important places.
Like the theatre for opening night show.( A MUST SEE) and the pool I think I will be

How long has it been since I have posted on the R Family Forums or a blog on Myspace? The answer: I posted a blog on Myspace a week ago—for the first time in nine months—when I was despondent over the absolute tragedy of Heath Leger’s passing :( (Okay, I’ll admit it… I love him… Ennis Del Mar in Brokeback Mountain: Heath… the same).

The job that I accepted in April of 2007 has turned out to be an all-encompassing position where the lines between life and work are blurred. I truly enjoy my job and I love most of my co-workers (how many of you can say that?) but sometimes I forget to stop and smell the Orange Blossom’s (the old adage is “Roses” but I prefer Orange Blossom’s—of which I have many).

Michelle, Trisha, Wendy, Patty, Kelsey, Cheryl, Sartek, Wendee, Jan—to name a few—I apologize for failing to keep the countdowns going… the excitement open… the elation continuing; however, life overshadows anticipation and burden surpasses expectation.

Anyhow, enough of the diatribe… let the fun begin… :D

I have some FABULOUS news: I have the good fortune and privilege of bringing my younger sister, Deneen, with me on the R Family Cruise to Mexico. :D She has never been on a cruise before (nor has she ever been surrounded by… um… so many gay people) but I know—from my own familiarity—that she is going to have the time of her life! For me, this cruise will be all about her: treating her to an experience, she would never have without R Family! It is my duty—as her older brother—to ensure that she has a superlative voyage.

I am very excited and I am having T-shirts made—for the two of us—for one of the functions Gregg mentioned in a recent e-mail.

There were some of you who considered me to be a major “partier” on the Caribbean Cruise… but… um… you ain’t seen nuthin’ yet! Indeed, I will have to try my hardest to “keep-up” with my baby-sister! (I am probably going to have to take “naps” every day in an attempt to keep up with her!) HOLD ON TO YOUR SOCKS PEOPLE! It’s gonna’ be a rocky ride! LOL.

[Douglas quivers, frightened]

I have spent the last two weeks talking to her on the telephone, trying to convince her that she does not need to bring any “heels.” (Okay, I have been telling her this because when she wears heals she is taller then me: I am 6’3”… I will be damned if I will have my baby-sister being TALLER then me)! Anyhow... I can hear the excitement in the timbre of her voice and I am thrilled to be the one who has bought her this joy of anticipation.

Um… okay, I did tell her that Ross (Matthews) the Intern would have drinks with her (this is doable… ‘Cause… um… she is SO MUCH taller then Ross—Oh, I forgot to mention that I met Ross during “pride” here in Palm Springs—and my sister is… um… well… an AMAZON… that is all I have to say about that). Now, where was I? Humm… Amazon… Wonder Woman breasts… um... not the originals... bought and paid for... LOL.

Oh, my sister is going to “kill me” if any of you mention any of this to her… so please, do not.

[Sirens Blare]

“Man overboard, Man overboard.”

SEE! SEE what happens to me if you mention it to her? I hope you are happy… I am floating in the Pacific with sharks nipping at my flesh because you could not keep your traps shut about her bought-and-paid-for breasts! I hate you!

Now, where was I? Oh, yes, my sister and her fake breasts (do not tell)… I think of my baby sister as an Aggressive Amazon—in a female pro-wrestler kind-of-way—and she makes Paris Hilton look like an amateur when it comes to being the life of a party: It should be fun, fun, fun for everyone around.

Unfortunately, I have examined my schedule for the next 4 weeks and I am booked solid: I have no time to play on the R Family forums (as much as I used to love too) because I have work related—pressing—concerns and ambitions that take priority.

I just wanted all of you to know that I miss the forums and that I miss all of you—the friends I have made here—dearly. I WILL be on the r family cruise to Mexico (because I would not miss it for the world) and I look forward to seeing all of you again: And for those of you who are unable to sail on this voyage I will make it a point to drink a special toast to each and every one of you.

It is my hope that I will have some extra time to post during the two weeks prior to the cruise but until then…

I love and miss u all… and I cannot wait to see you again.

Love Always,

Crazy aka Cheryl

Hi everyone! I am so sad that Terese and I will not be joining all of you on the cruises this year :( Terese is in charge of inventory for a major nationally known department store the exact same week the cruise is in March so we cannot go.

We were going to go on the cruise in July but my lovely daughter Karin, the one that got married in May in Las Vegas and whose wedding was attended by none other than the very lovely Doug, Nightowls and TravelGirls, is pregnant with her first baby (a daughter, Bianca Riley) and is due the third week of June and I will be there when the baby is born and for a couple of weeks after! I am sure that one of those weeks will be the summer cruise :(

We are saddened to not be joining all of you this year but real life is interfering.

I wish I could meet Doug's sister Dineen next month but I am sure I will soon as Terese and I will be moving to Palm Springs near Doug within the next couple of years. We are figuring out the move now.

I hope all of you have a drink in our names on the cruise and Cheryl, beside having a in our name drink, play a bet for us :)

Looks like the rumor mill was right... this is R Family's last year in business... what with them now offering 2-for-1 cruises to Mexico in March. Rosie has kept the boat afloat financially since inception and it appears she's pulling the plug. Shame it hasn't worked out as hoped. Guess there's only so much you can do when you're trying to be everything to everyone.

I knew Rosie subsidized but I wonder where the rumor started. There are always rumors floating around especially when anything has to do with her, her family, whatever. I hope it is not true but then after the March cruise if there is not another adventure to works towards, then I guess we'll have our answer.

Ciao POLKA~PEG.You could't be more wrong.I don't know which Rumor Mill you listen to or watch.
Maybe entertainment tonight
There are three Cruises scheduled between now and 2009. It is customary when the Boat is not filled to offer a promotion
It is called business. In addition they tacked on 10 dollar fuel charge for the Mexico Cruise which R Family is absorbing not passing on to us.
So you listen to the rumor mill on July 14 nth while 2000 of us set sail on the Norwegian Dawn for the 7 th Cruise.Would you be kind enough to tell me which side of the Boat that I should wave to you from?
Than there is Gallapagos and Africa in 2009.
Please don't muddy up the Boards with posts that are not true and so negative.:(
R Family will be around for a very longtime.

I hope that your information source is very trustworthy as posting something like this on the boards can be damaging to what R Family is trying to build if it's not. I don't think that R Family would have added a second major cruise in 07 if things were that bad. Also it takes time to get a business like this up and going.

I'm sure that Gregg or Kelli will straighten this out.

No, that's not for sure true. As Cheryl posted, they have at least 2 more cruises/events outside of 08, Galapagos and Africa. Africa is a safari, but you'd still have the Galapagos if you meant cruises. Humm… it appears that people HIJACKED my thread in my absence… what with all the R Family is going out of business crapolla… Frankly, I do not even want to think about it :( ; I believe that Candue said it best:

after the March cruise if there is not another adventure to works towards, then I guess we'll have our answer.

Until then… let us all enjoy the anticipation of our upcoming Mexico cruise. Indeed, I think it is time for a sing-a-long. (For those of you familiar with my old thread, this was a common occurrence). So, please click on the link below my signature line (for my Myspace page), turn up your speakers, and sing a long…

Way down here you need a reason to move
Feel a fool running your stateside games
Lose your load, leave your mind behind, baby James

Oh, Mexico
It sounds so simple I just got to go
The sun's so hot I forgot to go home
Guess I’ll have to go now

"Americano" got the sleepy eye
But his body's still shaking like a live wire
Sleepy "señorita" with the eyes on fire

Oh, Mexico
It sounds so sweet with the sun sinking low
Moon's so bright like to light up the night
Make everything all right

Baby's hungry and the money's all gone
The folks back home don't want to talk on the phone
She gets a long letter, sends back a postcard; times are hard

Oh, down in Mexico
I never really been so I don't really know
Oh, Mexico
I guess I’ll have to go

Oh, Mexico
I never really been but I’d sure like to go
Oh, Mexico
I guess I’ll have to go now

Talkin’ bout Mexico
Little Honkey Tonk down in Mexico
South of Margaritaville I’ve been told

Adela Adela vamoose

Oh yeah it’s the loveliest cast of characters on that boat yes’s a’

We got the wind at our back, smooth sailing all the way

Etc…

I will be back this weekend with some DRAMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! :D

Hi all,

Okay… I have some bad news… I “lost” the battle of the high-heels with my sister. In fact, her exact words were, “I have fabulous shoes… you can’t tell me which ones to wear.” To be exact… when I asked her if she had “white tennis shoes” she replied, “I have white high-heel flip-flops and that’s what I’m wearing.”

Huh? What? They make High-heeled flip-flops. Are you freaking’ kidding me?

Therefore, my baby sister insists upon wearing high-heels and being taller than me. Well… two can play at that game. I am determined to find “high heels” for a men’s size twelve and a half shoe… I have not had any luck yet… but I WILL find them and I WILL wear them… I WILL SHOW HER! :p

OH, I forgot to mention the “surprises” I am pulling on her… you see I have bought us specific “supplies” for the Disco Night and the St. Patrick’s Day parties, which will come as a COMPLETE shock to her… “Here… put this on!” LOL! Please… if anyone is near or above stateroom 4144 please keep lookouts for a man being tossed over the balcony…. She scares me! I am certain that there will be a daily battle of who throws whom overboard… LOL. Brothers and Sisters… always-volatile relationships… or is it just us?

This brings me to our recent “hoochie-mama” conversation. You see… my 43-year-old sister is still what—some may consider—HOT! She knows it… and dresses as if she is 23 instead of 43. I had to put the “quash” on this… I told her: “Anything you wear must cover your bosoms… you don’t want to give the Lesbians the wrong idea… and you don’t want to frighten their children with your short shorts or heaving bosoms…

“Mama… I want to nurse on THOSE!”

I AM A DEAD MAN! (See what writing the truth brings)?

Oye Vay! I love my baby Sis… but she is a challenge.

Did I mention that when I discussed “excursions” with her that the ONLY thing she wanted to do is “Swim with the Dolphin’s?” At $178 a pop, I was NONE TO HAPPY about it considering I am paying for the entire cruise and NOW I have to pay for an excursion that I do not even want to do.

[Douglas Reads the Newspaper]

In the past, few months there have been reports of dolphins "attacking" humans that have come to interact with them.
.
Dolphins have the capabilities of "sensing" fear, as well as varied "emotions" exhibited by both humans and other mammals. There are numerous reports of humans being "rescued" by dolphins when they become distressed in oceans or bays. The dolphins do this by sensing the fear and distress in the human and then attempting to assist them to safety. The dolphins will grab one of the human's limbs, usually a lower limb, and pull them in the direction of the shore or shallow water. Dolphins may also push the human with their snout. Not knowing their own strength in relation to the human, these rescuing techniques may cause injury, especially if the human struggles or fights back.
In addition, a majority of the cases of "dolphin aggression" occur in captive settings. Places such as "Dolphin Encounter offer travel packages that include personal interaction with dolphins. Places such as these that allow a person to "swim with the dolphins" are dreams come true for those that love dolphins and wish to learn more about them on a personal level. However, before making arrangements with any such place, research should conducted. A facility that offers one hour interaction time limits, a trainer in the water with the visitor when interacting with the dolphin, and classroom type learning BEFORE allowing anyone to interact is one that will be safe, and allow for the best experience.

Oh, Great… I am !FISH FOOD

Hi Doug, I can so understand your reluctance to join your fearless sister.(I have the same reaction when people suggest this encounter to me) Perhaps there will be a sideline where you can record the whole event for her. Then you wouldn't have to pay for the excursion for yourself that you didn't want to do? She doesn't read these forums does she? I don't want to be blamed for encouraging you to defect for your own safety. She sounds big, hard to handle, and while I might outweigh her, I am already very afraid of her. In fact I am going to try and delete this after you get my messege. And just in case she does read these forums I am using TJ's name to frame her.

I HATE MY SISTER! LOL

Hi Doug, Cheryl and Everyone Else!!

Just wanted to say "hi", Carolynn here. We met on the Feb 07 cruise after our family ceremony in the champagne bar. You were all gathering for a photo. I have been lurking the past few months and reading the excitement! I want to wish you all a fantastic cruise!

We talk about going on another Rfamily cruise almost everyday. Just can't make it happen for this one. Life took a turn last year when we got home. Two weeks home and I landed in the hospital.... Spent the past year in chemo and radiation for an agressive non-hodgkins lymphoma. I am remission currently and sporting really short hair! I like it! Anyway, we are living on one salary.... so needless to say no cruise this year. Although we need it. LOL!

Try and post while on the ship and we shall live vicariously though your words and experiences. Have fun!

Hi Carolynn,

I am so sorry to hear about your lymphoma but happy to hear that you are in remission. :) As for the “photo” to which you are referring… you are actually IN IT! :D There is a link to it at Rosie.com/blog/ under “Enter to win the ultimate Summer Cruise,” and it is the top photo featured on the page: you are standing at the right end. Hi Jan and PicFan...

I am so sorry that you and yours will not be on the cruise but I promise that I will post on this thread when we are in Mazatlan… my sister and I did not schedule any excursions there because it is the day after St. Patrick’s and we will be in NO condition to do anything. (I like to plan my Hangover’s… This might come as a shock to all of you… but I am not one for surprises… LOL). :p

I will try and post more tomorrow, but I have not yet packed nor have I done anything I was supposed to do last weekend… I had to step away from everything for a while

Until Next time…

Hey all thanks for the well wishes...we wish you were all joining us. Greatly looking forward to time on the boat and with Douglas and his sister and everyone else. So in need of a relaxing week away from responsibilities. We fly in late morning Saturday and will be in line waiting with the early group just counting down til they can board if all goes well. Haven't packed a thing yet either but I have two more nights...it will get done, it always does :) Looks like we may have a couple cool days (um, 70's is cool when ya live here and are already used to the mid 80's right now) Eastern folk will love it but it's a bit cool for water activities for us heat loving people from the southwest desert!
More sometime after the cruise since it looks like the laptop may stay home and keep the dogs and critters company.

Hi Carolyn & Jen,

Okay, I guess this post is just for you... LOL :)

We are presently in Mazatlan... lovely day.

The Cruise has been great thus far: Broadway Belters first night... Cyndi Lauper second night... Comedy Showcase last night... Sam Harris tonight.

My sister and I absolutely loved Cabo... it was a little chilly on our morning excursion, but it warmed up during the day and we had a fabulous time...

Last night was St. Patricks... um... at least I think it was... Had one or ten too many...

Well... that's about it for now. My sister and I are having a great time and hanging out with Patty & Kelsey and a bunch of new friends we meet on a daily basis.... more stories to come... but for now I've got to find my drink... LOL ;)

Tootles!!!

Hi Douglas,
It sounds like things are divine! :D St. Patricks Day on the cruise I would have liked that! Plus I turned 41 on the 16th, so I would have been right there celebrating with you.
Have a drink for me, please:p Looking forward to your updates. Bye.

I'm reading, too, Douglas. I'm at a conference for work and a tad busy, but I do read when I can.

I have my sweetie and my little sweetie (partner and child) here with me, so they keep me busy when I'm not at the conference. We are enjoying the warm weather here in Tampa (when I'm not in your generic convention center meeting room) and SOMEONE wants to go swimming at every opportunity. Now, if she could only be so enthusiatic about swim lessons!

Hi Doug,
Sounds like you are having a wonderful time. I had changed my email address and somehow have not been able to post. Adm. was working on it, but never figured it out. So, I changed email addresses again. And guess what, this time it worked.
Tell Crazy and all I said hi and hope everyone is enjoying the cruise.

OH, i have to brag...my prince, Donovan, performed his first solo at a dance competition this past weekend. Not only did he win top first place but he was the overall high point winner for his division. This was the solo that many of you helped me to win the funds to cover his choreography on another site.
Here is a link to the video of his award winning solp:

Hi Dizzy,

Oh, Girl... there are so many wonderful stories and photos from this cruise... unfortunately I am very pressed for time... real life pulled me back in far too quickly... I will try to post some photos and stories in the coming months, but for now I will share just one:

This is my favorite photo from the Mexico Cruise... It was a special moment I captured between my sister, Deneen, and a new German friend of ours, Jeffrey; he is a voice over artist in Germany and upon meeting my sister he said, "Ewww... a straight ghirly ghirl... Ewww." That was all it took... my sister fell in love with him... "Drunk A$$" she nicknamed him... after that, every time we saw him (if he was sober) she would ask, "Where's Drunk A$$? I love Drunk A$$." And well... this is a photo... completely unposed for... of Ghirly Girl and Drunk A$$... I LOVE IT!!!

http://i152.photobucket.com/albums/s179/dmuir62/myspace%20stuff/Mexico110.jpg

R Family is all about community and family. We come in all different shapes and sizes but the one common bond is a shared acceptance. I LOVE this photo, I love my sister, and I adore Jeffrey! In fact, I'll be seeing him Friday Night at a Thanksgiving Dinner (long story) prior to his departure for Germany.

Scarecrow... I still miss you the most!!!:(
