Hello,

You know, cruises do go out of Baltimore, and I think that this would be an ideal location for an Rfamily cruise to either sail out of or dock in. Baltimore's Inner Harbor is a family/kids paradise--there's the Baltimore Aquarium, the Power Plant--which is great shops and fun sites, like the ESPN Zone--, they have Amphibious Vehicle Rides and a great Children's Museum. Plus, Baltimore has fantastic places to eat, like Little Italy. Wow! It would be a really fun place, and I think kids would love it. There is a ton to see and do there! And, if people were SUPER ambitious, Washington D.C. is about 45 minutes away, and there's tons to see (and protest) there.

I suggest Baltimore as a port of call or even as a departure site. I know cruises do go down through Charleston, SC, etc. It might be fun to do an "East Coast" cruise.

Of course, Baltimore would be great for us here--we can actually drive to the ship! So, I guess my own agenda is a little evident. But, there is no doubt that it's a great location for kids and family--plus, Maryland is very liberal, and they're in the process of beginning to push for gay marriage!

Well obviously I am all for this idea :)

We live about a 20 minute drive from the harbor so a cruise out of Baltimore would be absolutely great!

Royal Carribean leaves out of Baltimore now and I believe NCL has plans to also sail out of Baltimore.

I was debating before this weather to do a Baltimore cruise or this one and well, I'd rather be amongst family than just have convenience. But convenient plus being surrounded by our community, well that just tops them all!

You have my vote :)

Not to mention the idea that when Rosie's Broadway group does "Good Morning Baltimore" or other songs from Hairspray, it would be a great tie-in! :D
