Hi Greg & Kelli:

My partner and I of eight years are considering a Civil Ceremony. I'm looking for advice on how to do this. I thought I could get the Marriage License in NJ on July 5th. There is a 72 hour waiting period. Of course, we will be on the ship at that time. Are there officiants who can facilitate the service on the ship and create a legal binding NJ Civil Ceremony? Or, would it be in our best interest to wait until we return and spend a few more days in Jersey prior to returning to PA? I would appreciate your thoughts. Thanks!:o

You should call the office and speak with someone directly
They will put you in touch with Sally Masters who does the unions /ceremonies
She would be the one that could best answer your question.
I know some couples that have had ceremonies and they were very accomodating to their requests
Beautiful and very touching!
Good Luck!!.

Hi Crazy aka Cheryl:

Thanks for the input. I'll give the office a buzz and get some details and info on how to get in touch with Sally.

Be well
