Is it True that Rosie is Leaving the View?

I have to bugg all 3 of your but I was just watching the News and they said that Rosie is leaving the View, is this True :( ?. They say since both sides were not able to come to a agreement over her contract renewl talks. Does Rosie have something already in the works for another comeback with her own show or is it time to go back to doing what she loves to do the best, I am referring to her Art?


What ever and where ever Rosie goes from here, just let it be known that America will support her in her endeavors with where ever she plans on going from here.

I am home sick today and am deeply saddened by Ro's announcing that she will not be returning to the view.
She asks the questions that others do not have the guts to.
she brings to light what our government wants to keep in the dark.
This is a sad day:(
On another note. Ro is very unpredictable and maybe she has something else in the works.
I hope so.........

Yesterday in her video blog, she hinted that everything was going to be ok, and that no matter what, the blog would still go on, so she was hinting to us that there was going to be an announcement.

She talked in her video blog this morning that ABC offered her a 3 year contract and she only wanted a 1 year contract at a time. And they could not give it to her. So she decided to announce her leaving the View.


I am curious to see what the ratings on the View are next year. I would say that the ratings drop quite considerably.


I commend her.. although I hate that she is leaving, but it is right for her. I'm glad that she didnt give in to the ABC people and got stuck in a 3 year contract.

We can see her every day on her blog, and we are lucky that we can spend time with on the cruises.

Yes its true. I am sad but understand why she is leaving. I will definatley miss her. I watched the show cause of her. And I know there are other Canadians like myself that will miss her dearly as well. I will definately look at her blogs still.

:( I know this isn't the place to express my saddness that Rosie is leaving The View but I just wanted to wish Rosie the best and tell her how much I will miss her. As I gay man I applaud her for opening her private life to all of us! You have been a great inspiration. I would love to go on a cruise but all my resources go to medication to fight my HIV+ condition.

Selfishly, I'm heart broken that I won't be able to see Rosie every day on the view, but I'm happy that she's doing what she wants to do. There were times that watching her speak about MY VIEWS is the high point of my day--and I'll really miss screaming ,"Go, Ro." into the tv during hot topics.

Hi Bruce. I can't afford to go on the cruises either, but was able to go to the land weekend in Philly because I live near there. I'm sorry to hear you've got HIV. I'm on a fixed income for a chronic illness, fibromyalgia. Last time Rosie had a giveaway on her blog for a cruise and I'm hoping she had another one. If I win you can come with me--- but don't start packing your bags, since I yet to win anything in any contest or lottery I've entered. :):D

At this moment I can't even imagine not seeing Rosie on a daily basis :( However, since the start of the video blog I can sense I'll handle it. Yesterday I felt that Rosie was talking to me and assuring me to hold on and it's going to 'be OK'. I'm trusting you Rosie! My sadness when you left your show was taken care of when I went on my first RFamily cruise, then you brought me my daily yellow with the view. I looked forward to your opinions and your honesty and brave spirit! I will once again see you on the cruise and look forward to your daily video blogs and anxiously await for a grand return to TV on a regular basis sometime in the future. Just so all will know, I will not be watching the View when Rosie is gone. As much as I adore Barbara and find joy in Joy, it just won't be the same as it wasn't all that great before Rosie!

For those that read Rosies blog I hope you have been as entertained by Rosie, Helene and Jeanette as I have. I think those three should have their own show, a late night fun crazy show where you can continue to say almost anything you want. Especially Helena, she is toooooo funny! :D or maybe a regular podcast / videocast.
I know I would watch it everyday!

:( Oh sad-Rosie leaving the view. Frankly it is the only reason I watched it.OH..ABC contracts...poo-on-you. GIve Rosie what she wanted. If it is a one year at a time contract..give it to her...ratings have never been higher..it brought in a whole new crowd--the gay community for one. Rosie is an amazing person..so devoted to her wife , family, and things that matter in life. We will all miss her(so will the ratings as they flop) Whatever Rosie does-it will be done with honesty and integrity-:D
