We just returned from the winter cruise. Brian Nash and the nightly piano bar was undoubtedly the highlight of the cruise for us. Brian is unbelieveably personable and talented and the impromptu performances of the broadway belters was incredible. It was vintage NYC piano bar entertainment. Bravo Brian!

We get to see Brian whenever we want! He performs every Sunday and Wednesday at the Duplex, a piano bar, in the west village. Since we live on Long Island, it's only an hour away by car. He's so incredibly talented and like you said very personable and friendly. I hope he'll be on the July cruise... I actually just sent him a message to ask him! lol

Lucky You! My partner and I live in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. We save our entertainment budget for periodic trips to NYC. Do you know if Brian Plays anywhere else on any other nights? We're coming in to the city this weekend and were hoping to catch up with him on Saturday night. Our next trip in will be for the True Colors concert on Monday June 18th. We were were going to try to see if he was playing anywhere on the following Tues the 19th. He gave us his email address on the Feb cruise but we misplaced it ;(

I'm sorry to report Brian is off on all the days you'll be in the city. He performs at Duplex on Christopher Street on Friday nights and on Sunday nights and Wednesday nights but has Sat and Mon off. :(
Sorry!
You should venture into the city on a Friday or a Sunday or Wednesday.... especially on a Sunday or Wednesday cause then you get to see him with Shanna Sharp and she's Fantabulous!!!! We love Shanna.... you can check her out at www.shannasharp.com. Oh... and I'm happy to report Brian will be on the July cruise to Bermuda!!! YAY!

Thanks so much for checking on Brian for us. We are home now recovering from a week end NYC theater blitz. Unfortunately, plane reservations were already made so we couldn't extend our stay through Sunday nite. I am going to try to change our plans for True Colors to arrive on Sunday so that we can catch him at the Duplex with Shanna. It's great that he is going to be going to Bermuda. I know where we'll be every night!

Brian is one of the biggest highlights of the week!! We love him!! Am thinking they're gonna need to have him playing in a bigger lounge.. just not enough chairs in that little bar...Maybe the Spinnaker... hmmm...

Sounds like Brian has a following! You gals are gonna have to fight us for seats in that small lounge! lol :) It'll be nice to finally meet you all as well. :)
Looking forward to it!

Yeah, we're fans! We actually briefly talked to Brian on the last cruise about playing for our wedding reception (summer 2008). He thought it sounded like fun and we will definitely talk more about it on the next cruise. We keep talking about heading into the city to see him at the Duplex, but haven't made it in yet... someday..

Of course, there's always the cruise :)

Let's see, that's 2 seats for LICubRN, 2 for LeTishia, 2 for miche, ...

I'm tellin ya... need to move him to the Spinnaker.. except normally he stops playing when folks head up to the lounge and if he moved, he would never get to stop! As it is, he already plays way past when he's scheduled. And he ROCKS!! :)

You'll have to tell him to check out the forum so that he can get a glimpse of his fan base. I recently saw the revival of Les Mis and I laughed out loud at the scene that Brian does playing all 19 people!
