I'm trying really hard to attend the March Weekend, it's only about 20 miles from where I live:D . I'm single w/o kids and would be coming alone. Will there be other singles going? I hope this isn't neccessary to say--- but I'm NOT going prowling or looking to meet someone, just hoping to hang out with some cool people :D. I don't want to feel like the only person who is all alone. I'm not shy, but I'm also not intrusive on other people's families.
Thanks :)

Hi Amy, We wont be going to Philly. I would love to but the cost of the weekend is the money we need for our Passports for the July Cruise. I know you will meet some great people and have a good time. Take Care, Cheri-Kim

Greetings PinkRibbonAmy,

We're not booked for the Philly trip. BUT, I do agree with mikirehc that you will have a great time. Gregg and Kelli are very nice and kind people and those traits seem to permeate through the group of people that come on these trips. That's what I have found with the people on this forum as well as the one cruise we've taken with R Family. Have fun and we wish we were joining you.

post with you later,

sartek

Amy,
All of our trips are welcoming to anyone that comes with an open heart and ready to meet new people. So come on!! I will be there with all four of my kids. So you are more than welcome to give me an extra hand!!!

Dear Amy,

I went on the December cruise. I just have to tell you, I never before in my life had an experience like that. EVERY person that I met, were so friendly, loving, and supportive. I have met so many new friends, that I truly think will be lifelong friends. This forum is so special as well. I would not feel uncomfortable at all going alone to any function that the R Family has. Truly.

I'm definitely going to go then. Thanks for being so welcome to a single gal (who's NOT on the prowl). I called today to make reservations, but they aren't taking deposits, so I have to wait until I get all the money together! I hope that I see some of you there. PM me if any of you are coming so I can look for you :D.

Bad news. My car decided that it needed a $300 part, which I have yet to get so I don't think I'm going to be able to go on the weekend. I'm so disappointed. You don't know how much I wanted to go, but if I did I'd only be screwing myself in the long run, money wise- meraphorically speaking ;). I hope everyone has a GREAT time.

Amy -
I have 2 non-hotel package tickets that I cannot use nor can I find someone who's able to use them next weekend - you are welcome to have them as they can be transferred, no strings. Let me know and they're yours.

Tammy---- you just made me the happiest person in the world. I sent you a PM with my info. Your kindness means SO MUCH TO ME--- more than I could even say and it means as much to me as even going on the weekend. I'm crying tears of JOY----I feel like the luckiest woman in the world :). I sure hope someone pays your kindness forward to you.

I posted this on the other thread so this is a duplicate. here's a weather update for the weekend in case you didn't see it:

I thought I'd do a weather update for those coming this weekend if you're not familiar with the area.
As of today, we're expecting the high 40s low 50's with a chance of rain later on Saturday. At night it'll be barely above freezing-- so be sure to bring gloves and a hat if you tend to get cold. I'm still wearing a wool jacket, but not the down jacket I've been wearing. There's no snow on the ground, knock on wood and even though we're supposed to get snow Weds, it should be gone by then. For little kids you probably want hats, because it feels chillier when it's windy and the area around the Liberty Bell might have an line on the outside.
I'll do daily weather updates for everyone.

Weather update:
We have about 2 inches of snow on the ground from yesterday, but it should be gone by Saturday. Looks like there will definitely be rain on Sunday and they're hoping for a high of 50.
