Gregg,
Do you have any wedding info to report? We are considering getting married on the cruise and would like to get the particulars of how to, where, costs, etc. Thanks

Please call our office and we can put you in touch with the justice of the peace that will be performing the ceremonies on board the ship. We can also help you coordinate any "extras" that you want for your special day. Congratulations! and we look forward to seeing you on board.

Kelli (or any others with the answers):

We have already been in contact with Sally and have our date & time reserved for our commitment (wedding) ceremony. Now we have some questions about the "extras".

1. Is there a professional photograper on board we can pay for exclusive use of for an hour or so?

2. What about music in chapel?

3. Wedding cake? Small scale reception, ie. champagne, appetizers, etc?

4. Are there any steam/press services on board? I am worried our wedding attire will be in bad shape after travel to the ship. Any suggestions there?

I know you all are SWAMPED at Rfamily, but it sure would be helpful to have a few answers. NCL does have a wedding coordination department. They have a listing on there web-site. Are we suppose to contact them or you for these services?

Thanks in advance! Can't wait until July! Jan

My partner and I got married last cruise...and here is the answers I know!

1. Is there a professional photograper on board we can pay for exclusive use of for an hour or so? Yes...we got one to take pics...but I don't know aobut for an hour.

2. What about music in chapel? Bring your own Boombox, no other system was available...but you can just bring your own.

3. Wedding cake? Small scale reception, ie. champagne, appetizers, etc? The last cruise provided a small cake, and we were offered a bottle of champagne (to purchase).

4. Are there any steam/press services on board? I am worried our wedding attire will be in bad shape after travel to the ship. Any suggestions there? They do press your clothing for you..for a fee. But be warned, we got married on Monday afternoon, when the cruise started sunday, and we were told it was too late to get the things done. So if you want them to press the stuff make sure you plan a late week wedding with Sally (who called a few weeks before takeoff to arrange that).

Thank you for taking the time to answer my questions. I actually have been in contact with Colleen since posting and did get most of my questioned answered. Your input was helpful. RFamily had a few additions for me (or anyone else, getting married) aboard ship.

1. Photographer available for service by hour ($50/per) does not include photos or negative, of course.

2. Colleen believes there is CD player in chapel.

3. RFamily has a full list of "reception" extras...cake, champagne, other food/drinks.

The info on pressing I didn't know, happy to hear, it is a YES!. Our wedding is 7/6, so should be enough time to get it done.

Thank you again. I appreciate the BTDT knowledge! Take good care, Jan
