I've never really paid much attention to the Sundance Film Festival .. Until this year. I TiVo'd all the 1/2 hour spots they had during the festival hoping to see the rfamily team.
Maybe others already know this, but I had no idea how hard it is to get a film accepted for the festival. They said there were over 7000 submissions, and I think only 200 were accepted for the festival, and the rfamily one was one of those 200. Pretty great, huh? I don't know if the rfamily film is considered a "short" or not, but there were 4000 "short" submissions among the 7000.
Please don't quote my numbers, because they are probably not real accurate. But, the real numbers were at least as good as what I stated above.
I was impressed before, but I am even more impressed now! What an incredible achievement!
