For those of you who for some reason do not watch the V. They showed a clip of Clay covering Kelly's mouth in a joking hey my turn to talk way. Kelly says that was a no no cause she didnt know where those hands had been. Now as a straight women I took it as she was accusing him of beating off or something, Rosie thought she was saying he had partner cooties but she called Kelly homeiphobic (sorry for my spelling) Now as a gay women I get that Rosie and the gay community have taken enough bull**** from the unenlightend straight and fake christian communitys so that is where her head was at. Kelly R. calls the veiw and yes she had a right to say no I did not mean it that way, but she frikin Yelled at her at her job and told her she new better than to say something like that about her. She could have just said Im so sorry it was precieved that way and then later off air talked to Rosie adult to adult about how she felt. It was like WAP!. Rosies head came back and I have a feeling that had she less control Rippa would have had her pretty blond hair rippied out. To be tired and then publicly treated like a child. OUCH!. I liked Kelly rippa and I totally believe she isnt scared of gay peoplel, but she could have handled herself a little better!

Hi Frozennangell,
I just watched the View (tivo) and the Clay & Kelly Clip (Internet).
I think Rosie was just doing her job, stating her opinion about a "Hot Topic".
I can see why Kelly was upset when Clay did that to her and I thought her reaction was actually almost a cliché. I remember my Mom saying to me "don't eat that, you don't know where that has been" I think there is a common phrase like that people say when they are grossed out. Not a homophobic response, just a grossed out response.
(Sweaty palm across mouth, yuck!)
Without seeing the whole show I cant really make more of a "judgment" about it than that.
I know Clay is going through a lot but I seriously doubt he would have put his hand over any man's face, or even any "strong" woman's face. To me it was kinda Womanizing.
Yeah, he couldn't get a word in edge wise, but he could have handled it differently.
Does this make him a bad guy? No! I don't know what, if anything, Clay has said or done about this since then. So that is all I can say about Clay.
Meanwhile....So, Rosie is doing her job and she is stating her opinion about said "Hot Topic" and the producers let Kelly Ripa call in LIVE.
Kelly, clearly pissed as HELL, lays into Rosie. After she is done "Chastising" Rosie....
(I am putting it nicely, really she attacked)....
Kelly then proceeds to tell her side of the story, Rosie is now forced to defend not only her own "Views", she also has to defend her friend Clay, because he wasn't on another extension. (fair?)
They never should have let Kelly's call come through.
They ambushed Rosie.
I think the real villain here is ABC or their producers.
It is The View right? Not Jerry Springer? People don't call in and confront people.
What's next? Perhaps, Kramer can mud wrestle OJ?
Just my opinion.
I hope Rosie is not too upset :O(
