I was thinkin'... I know that on some cruises they do art auctions. I don't know if that's in the works for the Alaska cruise or not. In any case, maybe one program for our July cruise could be a charity silent auction. In the pre-cruise mailing we could be invited to bring something to place in the auction. Items could be as simple or as complex as we'd like them to be (sweatshirts from our local university, hand made items to reflect our collective talent...whatever works). The proceeds could be donated to the organization of r families selection perhaps one of Rosie's endeavors supporting the arts or to kids on the Gulf coast, I don't have one specific group in mind. Just thought this might be a fun way to give back to the community while we are also enjoying our trip. Have a wonderful Sunday. I'm writing a syllabus for a class I'm teaching that starts in two weeks. Procrastination is an extraordinary thing! Randi
